Woah so I might not have to cut a hole in my wall and replace the whole pipe assembly? Thank you for the video! This has taken a lot of stress off my mind for fixing my shower pressure.
Thank you for the little details! I am not sure if I'll attempt this or just hire a plumber, but your step by step instructions are easy to understand!
Wait, so you replaced the diverter with a different diverter that matched threads? I didn't think you could do that. I thought you would have to buy the exact same brand/model stem.
I went to Ace Hardware and I replaced the washer at the very end because it was bunged up. This is the washer at the very end of the diverter valve. After getting a new handle putting that on after a re assembling everything and turning the water back on I still get half shower half tub water and if I turn all the way to the left it's tub water only. Do I need to replace the whole assembly?
Because you still wouldn’t have paid attention just like you didn’t in the comments, you’d never be able to get it off sooooo why would you need to know 😂

Did he just cut tile with a hack saw?👀
Nice video. Did you check the valve seat? Maybe not needed but could have been mentioned. What a beautiful pink bathroom. Eleanor would be proud.

Is there a need to shut down the water instead of just closing the handles on the left and right?
No need to shut down water as the separate hot and cold valves shouldn’t let any water through to diverter
The SEAT sir, check the seat?
My diverter is not switching from tub to shower all the way.
Sounds like you have a different problem-it's with the diverter in the tub faucet
My handle broke and underneath it was a long piece of plastic rubber-type material.
Did you really have to turn off the water for this job?
Not required if you keep the hot and cold off, but nice to be safe
My diverter does not loosen
of course. his video was obviously staged.
Have you asked your diverter kindly to loosen up a little ?
Great video
Thanks
looks like Gerber
That wasn't a better angle 🥴
came off much too easily. obviously staged.
Is it really that bad or you just a tiny guy?
Why don’t they teach this is high school … instead of useless crap like physical education or math lol
