ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.

I love all of your ASMR sound segments, and when I saw that this is 42 minutes long I was really excited! I'm not usually a fan of tapping, but Dmitri, you are a genius. Tingles abound. You have true finesse as a sound designer and it has expanded my own range of hearing as well (and that's coming from someone interested in experimental music and deep listening). Thank you :)

I have to say that these sounds from the vases are quite special. It's not common to use such large objects to produce sounds. And you can actually feel the size of the vase from the sounds reflecting inside of it. Its thick walls also make the sounds even more satisfying.

It's incredible what you do. Where many ASMRists/tinglesmiths go through a predetermined route or a scripted set up you incorporate a certain amount of planning with a heavy hand in experimentation. Not only that, but I noticed you try to consider just "how relaxed" your viewers, so you can change up the volume or intensity of the tapping and/or other trigger. Good stuff mate, very very well done.

I'd like to suggest an idea: You should make a video where you stand behind the camera and do the same things as you do now. I for one get much more tingles when the person talking ear to ear does it from behind my head.

Dimitri needs to do more sound videos like this. The recent videos focusing on whispers and visual triggers aren't nearly as good, and I think more people are triggered by sounds.
