look, maybe im a bad target for this because im an american who can find indonesia on the map (most people under 40 these days actually can btw if you dont get your context about the us populace from fb an tiktok - and I'm over 40, so this isnt just youth apologism) but Sachs has been and remains to me little more than a great lesson in how very smart people can fool themselves. If he isnt flip flopping between blaming and apologizing for the structural world, he's presuming a benevolence to humanity that the species has absolutely never show. He expects a world Sans US dominance to be one without war, where history is replete with counter examples. He decries the west for imperialistic cultural tendencies but forgets that imperialism is the norm in human geopolitics, not the exception. I can go on and on with his myopic contradictions. He sounds great till you've heard him speak enough that you learn what _he_ is saying instead of listening to the confirmation bias to which we are all susceptible.
He's a super smart guy who has crafted his own manufactured reality and now refuses to leave it.

Seems very naive as if Russia and China have no expansionist, imperialist, ambitions. As if China is not building militarized, artificial islands to make claims against its neighboring countries, not to mention its ethnic cleansing of Tibet and the Uyghurs . As if Russia is not constantly trying to destabilize western democracies, not to mention murdering Putin's opponents and journalists. As if Israel is not useful not to say intrinsic to America's military-industrial complex. Another soft interview.

He isn't arranging anything. He's taking interviews with Sachs, Mearsheimer and whomever else he can find from channels like Judge Napolitano - Judging Freedom, and editing the content so that it seems he's the one doing the interview, when in fact he's just a hack, a thief.

    28:00 - US’ military obsession
_“You military should be for defence, not offence,”_
    📎 Recalling Jeffrey Sach’s Article : www.jeffsachs.org/newspaper-articles/h29g9k7l7fymxp39yhzwxc5f72ancr
He argues that _“China never made overseas transoceanic empires”_ and _“the United States is the least multilateral country among all major economies.”_
_“The irony is that since 1980 the US has been in at least 15 overseas wars of choice (Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Panama, Serbia, Syria, and Yemen just to name a few), while China has been in none, and Russia only in one (Syria) beyond the former Soviet Union. The US has military bases in 85 countries, China in 3, and Russia in 1 (Syria) beyond the former Soviet Union.”_
    30:18 - New Diplomatic Approach : Non-intervention🔥
33:45 - Jeff’s critics to the US’ current militaristic approach to Ukraine and Taiwan.
_“It's so naive; so dangerous; so provocative. But that's the US idea.”_
    *Ukraine & US’ Naivetae*
💡 Gita mentions his previous conversation with John Mearsheimer on Endgame #136. Watch the full episode :
    ua-cam.com/video/Yl7goPRw_eE/v-deo.html
35:04 - Jeffrey Sachs : Ukraine war is about a proxy war between the US and Russia over influence in Ukraine. It is a no brainer on who has more influence-geographically and culturally.
36:26 - US’ military influence in the war, how Russia has been responding
_“This war should never have happened. It is a war based on American stupidity, I'll say, and arrogance.”_
    40:07 - and Jeff’s idea on the possible resolutions🔥
_“Ukraine is not going to join NATO!”_
    *Zionism & Two-state Solution⭐*
43:26 - Zionism and how it’s been evolving to the current Israel-Palestinian War
    • [47:55] Israel’s War Crimes
_“Israel is not acting rationally … Therefore, it is not only damaging the Palestinian but also damaging itself …”_
    • [49:27] Jeffrey Sachs : The way to stop this is to make the US tell to the Israeli that the US no longer support them.
    51:21 - Two-state solution possibility
_“There's no solution on the basis of the Israeli government's current beliefs.”_
    54:10 - Role of multilateralism
_“I think the UN Security Council should simply immediately recognize the state of Palestine as a sovereign state UN member with the borders of the 4th of June 1967, meaning Gaza, East Jerusalem, and the West Bank. UN Security Council should mobilize peacekeeping forces-it can be Arab; it can be others-to keep the two states right apart from each other. But it should just impose this now!”_
    *New Economic Philosophy*
57:17 - Jeffrey Sachs : The monetary system is not the real economy
_“You can’t make an economy rich by printing money, … [so] focus on the ‘real’ economy!”_
57:53 - Jeffrey Sachs : Economy in the 21st Century hinges upon talent (so educate your people!). Including, becoming literate, numerate, aware of the world, digitally aware.
_“Education by far is the most important single investment that any society makes.”_
58:45 - Jeffrey Sachs : Build a strong international and regional network and cooperation.

Jeffrey Sachs, a prominent economist and professor at Columbia University's Center for Sustainable Development, criticizes the United States' pursuit of pushing Ukraine to join NATO, asserting that peace cannot be attained through such actions. Reflecting on his upbringing in Detroit and his academic journey from Harvard to Columbia, Sachs highlights the historical backdrop of global capitalism and European imperialism, underscoring the transition to a multipolar world economy. He laments the US's diplomatic shortcomings, emphasizing the need for greater respect and understanding in international relations. Sachs condemns the militarization of conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, urging for diplomatic resolutions and critiquing the US's role in exacerbating tensions.
