The Right Age for 'The Talk'

Today's podcast question says, "What is the right age to talk to my children about sex and the truth on the topic of how babies are born? I do not want my children to find out from others."

Hi Elizabeth, I’ve heard from multiple sources to start the conversation as early as three but I’ve yet to do it because no one has said how exactly that conversation should go. What exactly should I be telling them? How much should I be telling them? How simple does that initial conversation need to be? I would love an example of how you would present it if possible?
