    I appreciate this video. I wish there were more actionable steps that I can take with my child available for parents with kids in public schools. I do appreciate the steps to talk with administrators but they are not forthcoming. I once sent in a question to a {popular Christian conference} regarding this and essentially was met with a chuckle and “don’t send them to public schools”. I was disappointed to say the least. Nothing negative towards the speakers at all. I just felt like my concerns weren’t given the weight they deserved. There are some of us who love the Lord and are trying so hard to figure this out without the option to homeschool or go to a private Christian school.

    This election is unique and that there is an issue on the ballot which has never appeared before and the issue is whether to give up our democracy. You see that giving dictatorial power to Trump is the only way he can evade justice and not go to prison.

    • @Boldylock

      And you honestly think the left (remember when they were election deniers in 2016) have dictatorial tendencies? Were they not the ones that tried to force everyone to get the Covid sh0t through OSHA or else face unemployment? I remember facing that personally. Remember when Zuckerberg recently admitted that the Biden admin pressured Facebook to surprise information? Sounds dictatorial… Trump’s not perfect either but let us be sober minded and not attach ourselves to one sides’ lies. They want your emotions and will say anything (“democracy is on the ballot”) to get it.

    Well said & very well put together. 💯👏 I've been listening to superbook for many years now as an adult. What I ❤love about superbook is their Bible app. 📖It is truly amazing. I only wish the audio version was not just 3 different ones. 🤔I would like to see the King James version put on audio as well. It's hard for me to read sometimes due to my eyes always, watering. I leave it on the dramatized version of the NLT & learned a lot. Also, if having problems with insomnia just put your Bible app on and you will drift off to sleep. And that's because the devil just doesn't want you to hear God's word or accept Jesus for that matter. Accept Jesus now while it's still a free gift & were still under Grace. 📖➕🕊️

    Yay! Thank you for your review. We use Superbook clips at kid's church for many lessons as it's a great supplement for Bible teaching. It really portrays Jesus correctly. There are a few scenes that we edit out for younger children as some appearances of Satan or even violence may scare children under 8.

    What’s is the article that you mention regarding pro-life?

    • @FoundationWorldview
      @FoundationWorldview 2 дні тому

      We do not know the exact article that was passed on to Elizabeth. But the fallacy of equivocation she referenced is often present when the term "pro-life" is used in politics. The term traditionally means believing the murder of children in the womb is morally wrong. The way the term is now often equivocated means caring for the marginalized while also supporting murder in the womb. We hope this helps!

    Good job. SEL comes from CASEL which is an outshoot of the Fetzer Institute. Its a scheme adopted and promoted by the UN to build an ability in students and people (its not just for children) to cope with the transformation of the world into a Sustainable Development model with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. James Lindsay has a comprehensive grasp of SEL, you can find his stuff at New Discourses you tube channel or website. He wrote a book called The Marxification of Education - its also a really good book. I did a study on this also because it has been adopted in Australia's national curriculum. Another person to research would be Paulo Friere from Brazil, his critical pedagogy is part of this.

      They can't even tell how pervasive this is! I got into it with a bunch of facebook warriors for telling a therapist that "grounding" was undeniably spiritual and that psych professionals have a habit of using new age concepts as "evidence-based standards of practice." (Note the avoicance of the word science). I had dozens of people jump on me for merely suggesting using more neutral language, which secularists ask of Christians all the time. I was bombarded with wild defenses for everything from reiki, auras, mindfulness, and placebo spiritualism (lies) in the office. It was a mess! Language manipulation is their chosen sword. They'll try to make you out to be the crazy one picking at silly words when they're the ones being dishonest. We must use His Word to fight against it.

    Gentle parenting is actually a very broad term and there is so much variation in different versions in it. I’d class myself as a gentle parent and don’t use I statements or think of myself as a coach. Nor have I ever told a teacher etc. that they should gentle parent my child. I don’t think those are great examples of gentle parenting despite what the Cleveland clinic thinks it is!

    This is certainly a challenging issue to teach to children...even the scriptures comments on the particular beauty or attractiveness of people more than a few times (Sarai, Rebekah, Rachel, Esther, Joseph, Saul, David, Adonijah, Abigail, Bathsheba, Abishag, Job's daughters, Moses, women of Gen 6:2, Vashti) It's easy to feel 'less than' in value because we didn't win this particular genetic lottery. We shouldn't make our daughters or sons despise or need to hide their unique appearance. God gave this beauty to be used like any other gift - for his glory - and remember this will in fact fade where other gifts remain. No one attribute should define us nor should one define a person by only the exterior and not the heart also. Pro 31:30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is fleeting. A woman who fears the LORD- she makes herself praiseworthy. 1Pe 3:4 but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. In all these regards our host is exemplary. Young women take note.

    My son in law has boys in baseball and they absolutely love the game. My son in law is also a pastor. He came up with a solution that worked very well for them. 1) He is one of the coaches. He and my daughter invest in the kids, befriend the families, and come to all of the games except Sunday mornings. He can also schedule around church better since he coaches. 2)My son in law lets the other coaches and team members know at the beginning of season they will participate in everything except practices or games that occur Sundays before noon. They fulfill church commitments first. They’ve been well received because of the honesty and hard work they give the team.

    Peace and blessings. I strongly encourage reading about Sabbath. I was convicted of Saturdays being Sabbath as it is the seventh day and Sunday is the first. The Roman Catholic Cburch changed it to Sunday and they have some pagan roots of the sun god- this happened I believe around the time of Constantine. I recently saw a church after reading Scripture changed service to Saturdays. Scriptures tell us to obey God over man and God never changed it ❤ I hope this will bless and the Holy Spirit will guide in all truth. God bless

      Thanks for taking the time to offer your thoughts. In the analogy, people are not the germs. False ideas are.
