WOW, I can't believe how much time has passed since the birth of your son, it seems like a very short time ago. To see him walking and how he has grown was amazing and he will be playing his PRS in no time at all. So, enjoy as much dad time with him now... Cheers!

Rob, thank you for another candid look into your life. You making yourself accessible in the very humble, and honest way you do is inspiring to me and I'm sure many others as well. You are proof that with hard work and determination, dreams really do come true. As a father of five, and one on the way, I know how important it is to enjoy every moment you can with them. It goes by quickly. One day, I too will have my dream guitar, or guitars, but that is a bit down the road. At present, I'm playing a Charvel Desolation that I saw you demo, and I love it. Thanks again and I look forward to the next chapter of Chappers.

I got up this morning.. I looked like death..I wandered downstairs and got a strong coffee on the go and checked my youtube subscriptions...I drink my coffee watching a day in the life of Chappers and in my sleepy haze couldnt work out if it was a video or a mirror...I am wearing the same glasses..I am wearing the same trousers/pjs .. .(unreal!) I had greying stubble and the just woken up eyes...then realised it was a video as I dont have a baby anymore as my daughter is now 14..... how quickly it goes bud...enjoy.

when i was at music college in Brighton (ATM, which is sadly no longer about) where it was situated was also a practice studios, and Phil Mogg used to come in weekly when UFO weren't gigging to just for a couple for hours to sing along to backing tracks to keep his voice in check. Was weird turning up to lessons and seeing one of your idols sitting there, was super nice though and always had a chat with him :)

I know it's not the centrepiece of this video, but I love what beautiful things bass guitar makers do with woods. They often use multiple layers of differently coloured woods and awesome tops in natural colours. I wonder why this hardly exists for guitars (apart from the usual flame and quilted maple tops)?
