Natalie- I 100% agree with your actions regarding the coupon issue! Stores often “scam” us into buying/paying more by not honoring the sale price that was advertised. I remember Target getting in trouble for that many years ago.
That happened to me recently, found something on sale in the store, I think it was a box of mushrooms, I was so excited to cook them for dinner, it was like a 50% sale. I go to the cashier to check out, she just takes it away, says that the sale is not in the system yet and I was shooketh. I was not even able to buy the mushrooms at all :(((

First of all, let me just say, I laughed so hard, and so many times during this episode. Natalie is freakin hilarious. I literally laughed out loud when she was talking about the fake fb profile story and her fluctuation between disgust and props to the person who used her photos. When she said “Am I good enough?” With the hair flip💀
Also the coupon thing, 😮💨, I totally relate and you’re definitely not alone. I’ve never been like that before, but lately, idk if it’s just how crazy prices are or the fact that my rent has doubled, but I’m looking for all the discounts. So sometimes I go to this Subway on my way home from work when I’m too tired to cook and lately I’ve been using these coupons that I’ve been getting in the mail.
So a few weeks ago I went in, got my footlong, and the girl who’d helped me the last time was there in the back along with another girl who helped me on this particular day. She makes my sub, goes to the register, I hand her my coupon and she goes “oh we don’t take these here”. Before I could even think, I blurted out, in a playful way,🤔 “yes, you do? The other girl did it for me last time I was here”. So she walks away and goes to the back. I’m thinking “oh crap, am I being a Karen?” Thankfully, the other girl did know how to enter it into the system and I got my discount, so all was good, but when I got into my car I just sat there like, 😳”what did I just do? did I really just do that?” And I know I was justified, but now I feel like I can’t go to that same location cuz I was actually embarrassed. Like my mom took over my body in that moment, cuz who the hell was I that day?!🤦🏻♀️
Ok but shoes in the house is definitely a dealbreaker.

Most retailers have a scanner code of ethics (different places call it different things), and it’s meant for situations like this or when prices are listed wrong.
If you ever pick something up that is under $10 on the shelf and it scans in wrong and you point it out, ask if they subscribe to the retailer scanning code of practice, and if they do you can get the thing for FREE. I forget what it is if it’s over $10 but I think it’s something off of the listed price too.
Okay 2 things I NEED to comment lol
1. My husbands DAD was found on the AM website (his sister found him when it all leaked and they were in high school) and TO THIS DAY his parents are still together 🤦🏻♀️
2. Natalie was NOT a Karen! IMO if there’s a coupon (ESPECIALLY on the product in the store) they should be able to give you the discount regardless of if it was in the system (I’ve worked at a few stores, including Target and we ALWAYS did that for people if the system wasn’t working right. Target said as long as the discount was under $10 we could do it without a supervisor permission). Get your $2.50 girl!!!
Exactly!! If the price is up there or its a coupon they are suppose to honor it. So wrong for them to not.

I'm getting a divorce because I came home with a parrot. I fell in love with this cockatiel and couldn't not take her home with me. Okay it's not the only reason I'm getting a divorce. We want different things. Just your talk about pets being possible deal-breakers made me think of this. How many parrots can I have before someone will call me a crazy bird lady? I have two. A parrotlet (in my profile pic) and a cockatiel. They're not actually that hard to clean up after, and they're extremely smart!
I'm actually looking forward to getting my own place and starting my own life. I don't even dislike my husband, we just want different things. Like parrots. But also, I want to have a shoe-free home! I grew up that way, but my husband didn't, and I will really love not having people wear shoes in the house. I'm also ready to move on with my life, and NGL, I might've been tempted to use Ashley Madison if it was around. Kinda glad it's not, because I really prefer to be honest and ethical and not hurt anyone, so I don't need to be tempted.
This is not Karen behavior! It’s totally reasonable. Karen would have started calling the cashier dumb and yelling from the get and demanded both be free for the inconvenience of it all. Natalie you would never.

When i was a teenager i worked at walgreens and we would sometimes have issues if coupons. I would just manually enter the manufacturers coupon, give them the sale price, and keep it pushing. The real question is why were they giving you so much push back over $2.50??

You shouldn’t be. It’s a legitimate preference. Life dating someone with a kid is entirely different. Also nothing wrong with if you personally don’t want to raise someone else’s kid or be responsible for them.

As an Australian, I’m so confused with these temperatures! I’ve converted them to Celsius, and it honestly doesn’t sound that cold or hot… or am I missing something? Either way, I am on board with Deepti! I love it cold so I can wear sweats and sleep. If I’m leaving the house? My car or wherever I’m going will have AC
It’s not because she’s talking about the temperatures that she sets her thermostat to. 68 is a nice cool temperature. 75/78 is a nice spring day out but for some reason Americans think that 75/78 is an oven when you have your house set to that in the summer 😂😂😂

Anyone that doesn't like dogs is a total red flag, Deepti. I'm a clean freak, but I also wiped my dog's feet when he came in from outside every time, and he got weekly or bi-weekly baths. That girl's mouth and saliva he was making out with is 1,000 times more germy that her dog! Red flag.
They’ve gotten smarter with the free trials cause now they make you add your credit card info and it can’t be the same one you’ve used before.. me and my fiancé used 4 card (2 debit and 2 credit) to scheme for a free trial during football season but we’d be careful which games we would choose it for cause there’s only so many cards 🤣 I wonder if gift card would work 🤣🤣

Natalie have you ever worked in retail or customer service? I understand the store shouldn’t have advertised something that’s not available but the fact that you couldn’t let it go speaks of your character. You weren’t rude but the reason you couldn’t let it go sounds crazy to me. Your ego being the reason you couldn’t let it go says a lot about how arrogant you are. Sometimes employees get bad reviews that affect their promotional possibilities for reasons like this and it’s completely out of their control. Not a hate comment just my honest opinion.
As someone who’s worked in retail, we were taught to just satisfy the customer no matter if you were a manager or someone new. We would have just cashed it out and wrote in the receipt for book work what happened. At the end of the day, a big grocery store losing 2 dollars isn’t going to ruin them. Yeah it can be annoying but as long as the dates on the coupon check out it should be fine. It’s not like the store can take the money out of your paycheck. To me, the store shouldn’t have fought back so hard
The worst thing about the Christian couple from the AM doc, is that AM is the lightest thing he did - he went to strip clubs, had affair with many women, flirted with her FRIENDS…. AM was nothing in comparison.
