"...You better pray to The Twelve that Eos knows what she's doing."
I couldn't make it past the lvl 60 Scholar quest. And well...my buds needed a healer too...and then I brought out my scholar, who had the worst gear imaginable...and I'm like. I'm a summoner! I melt things, not heal them. Oh god. Button mashing, throwing up all the shields, and praying Eos will know what she's doing.
And the opposite situation, earlier today I participated in the mammoth FATE in the steppe, and there weren't any tanks, so I had to MT as a MCH because my DPS generated the most enmity out of all 30 or so people there. It took me a second to realize no tank was coming to save me and I had to actually stand still and be the tank instead of trying to go to where a ranged DPS is supposed to stand. Thank God my Chocobo is maxed healer.
I was like "I played Resto Shaman in WoW, I know how to heal in an MMO..." Except my copy of XIV is on PS4 since my laptop got stolen and switching targets on the fly is damn near impossible.

I was astrologian for 60 levels and done a lot of dungeons with it. But, when I switch to level 60 dragoon and do a dungeon, I try to heal. XD I'm like NO IM NOT A HEALER!!

He was dying because eos wasn’t healing hard enough and the scholar wasn’t doing enough dps, and kept trying to heal which everyone knows scholars job is to dps while eos is supposed to be the healer.
I once had some friends ask me to heal Titan (hard) on Scholar. I was the only one who had a high enough level healer job. I was like "I have no idea what I'm doing. Having me heal is a terrible idea." And it was. Especially since I'm prone to panicking.
I just found this......and as a warrior that specifically switched to scholar as my secondary......i feel very attacked, but i totally understand...........cause this was me for like weeks.
I fought that damn spider robot for the first time yesterday and it was not a fun time it took me having to find a new tank after the last one raged on us and getting a new dps
Aetherflow is trash now, 10%MP what's that like 1 raise? at least Scholar then then drop 3 free heals afterwards with lustrate. It rarely happens but I remember a few times I was worried I didn't have the mp to heal someone after raising them, Lucid Dreaming aside, sometimes it feels like being a healer has gotten harder in 4.0
Should have scared her with Living Dead at random times for even more laughs and screams. *pop Living Dead* "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HEAL MEEEEEEE" At least, that's what I would do.

I’m the opposite don’t ask me to do anything besides play healer. I start panicking when people start losing health and there’s nothing I can do about it.
