Larry, what are you doing mate? Your red mage isn't wearing all red or wielding a red weapon. That automatically reduces your red mages power by 15%!!
red mage is made of WHITE magic and BLACK magic right? 8D so my glamour is white and black! 8D; right?!

The best part about Deltascape IV's boss is that, yeah, he really could do all of that in the original game.
The animations for Flare and Holy are the same as well (RDM Holy is also ripped from the game, though their Flare animation is based more on the Blue Mage version of the spell, LV 3 Flare).
I admittedly squealed as soon as they mentioned Deltascape 4.0's name in the cutscenes.
Jamie Lee I was squealing over minor things, too. The last thing I expected was the shifting sand puzzle during boss 3.
Exdeath is so damn cool. He's a master mage, a master swordsman, he's got style for miles, he's got a story of pathos while also being unbelievably evil and satisfying to fight, he's absurdly competent, and he comes within inches of achieving his goal.
Oh, and he also manages to avoid ruining Final Fantasy V's otherwise relatively comical tone despite being basically all business as a villain.
The way she looks at you, like Larry looks at bahamut...

I had that "That's it?" reaction to the first two bosses, so that made Halicarnassus so much more enjoyable to me.
And, once again, I'm jealous of people who get to play this game with friends... Seems like a really good time. I don't get to hear a friend get a boner at seeing Exdeath, but I guess yours fill that void. XD

I thought the same thing until I got reminded that Jura Aevis is already being used for trash mobs in Stone Vigil Hard, so they went with Alte Roite for the boss here.

My favourite is the meteor thing with Exodeath because I always think the party wiped and I shout out "How did we wipe?!? What happene...d... oh! Oh yeah.... I forgot about that..." then a few minutes later "What!? How did we wipe?!? What happ.. oh! Oh yeah.... I forgot again..." it gets me every time...

I was pretty much screaming the whole time during these fights. where my experienced FC members were laughing.
Ugh, nothing sucks worse than dying as SMN with Bahamut either out or ready, it takes so long to get all your stacks back.
Having watched this now, I have made the stark realization that Larry is in fact a personification of Alpha...

Just to really clarify Halicarnassus: This boss was a dude in the original FFV but they obviously gender-swapped to a girl for FFXIV.

Everytime i see bahamut now i say it in your voice! Is SMN hard to play at all btw? might give it a shot.
Aislon in my opinion it's the most difficult of the 3 casters to maximize damage. black mage is up there too, I feel rdm is fairly simple to learn but it has some nuances that you can really bump up your dps

Rapier of the Round. It's the crafted version of the Thordan Ext weapon. You can find it on the market boards for around a million (depending on server ofc).
First time I did this fight, I got pushed off. Chat then looked like this:
