An old friend and I used to go see alot of bands like unearth and candiria (we loved overcast) in the early 2000s. I'll never forget the morning he died, I peeled the plastic wrap off this CD and just sat on my couch listening to it. I believe this was the third track and it fucking broke me.

I was told I was a lier, selfish. a financial burden and I had no ambition, my family blamed my drug problem that followed on everything they could that didn't include my apparent lie, truth was I just felt completely alone and the heroin helped me to stop thinking about the two years I had to go through everything a 13/14 year old boy never should. One day at home I thought my family wasn't there and I was feeling like crap. I put this song on loudly, smoked some gear and just laid there feeling the only thing that made me stop my emotions. I didn't realise my mum was there in the hallway listening to the lyrics, when it was over she came in my room and just started crying and telling me how sorry she was, at the time it didn't make me feel guilty for the things I did, but it did make me realise truly how fucked the situation was and that I would really have to make these feelings go away so I kept my mind busy and I started to use it all as an excuse to myself to move forwards with my life, if I've survived this much I can keep going, I was just glad it was over. Its almost been ten years. I turn 23 in a week and whenever I feel crap I play this song and it brings me back to that day I was 14 doped out on heroin with my mum looking at me crying, safe to say I will never let myself be like that again. This song is great and will be with me until I die.

+G'eZz(Gaston) I've always liked Jesse more. He's more aggressive and the tempos to his song are more in your face. Howard is awesome, don't get me wrong. But Jesse is a more powerful frontman in my opinion, not to mention he is the original vocalist.
Nah, Jesse could covey a wider spectrum of emotion than Howard could. Im not saying I dont like Howard but Jesse was a much more capable and versatile vocalist. Howard came in when KSE was writing their best material, so I feel that lends to people choosing Howard over Jesse.
