I’m from the UK so I’m very lucky to have the NHS. I can’t fathom having to worry about medical bills whilst having cancer. The NHS has saved myself and 3 other family members lives without us worrying about how we can ever repay the monetary debt. RIP Clare ❤ Childhood cancer has come along way since this video however, some childhood cancers (DIPG & other brain cancers) still have poor survival outcomes and research on them is very underfunded.
RIP clare. U have touched everyone u have met in their hearts, and those who u have met and helped are fortunate to have met u. Rest in peace angel, now u can enjoy the glorious cancer-free life you deserve xxx
This note is for Clare's mother...i have a son that had aplastic anemia....he had a bone marrow and is now cured, but we went through 3 years of ups and downs..and i can tell you this even if your child is cured..watching you child go through everything stays with you for ever and it is horrible.....
Dunno bout "scold" .. What are they supposed to do, give her a medal for losing weight?, it's called concerned encouragement you @!#!, this sh*t is life and death.
I'm currently going through treatment for stage iv breast cancer, and I can tell you that food is a huge issue for me as it is for many cancer patients. And that includes a huge amount of guilt when someone you love is trying to find food that doesn't completely turn you off. Some days, even water is hard to get down. It's especially discouraging when something tastes great for 3 days in a row and then on day 4 it makes you gag. Whoever comes up with a palatable way to stay nourished during cancer treatment deserves a Nobel Prize!
We grow old get sick and die because of a bad decision on the part of our first parents…had they remained obedient they and all their offspring would be alive to live on a paradise earth..happily God has planned to soon reverse the effects of Adamic sin where Claire will be able to enjoy perfect health forever in a paradise earth
And if they are renting? Or can't remortage because they already done that? The US health system is disgusting, we all know that people on Medicaid / Medicare recieve second hand quality care. I thank God that I live in Europe.
Healthcare in the USA is not free, and you have to pay out pocket. If they mortgage their home where will they go? They need somewhere to staff close to the hospital.
I can't understand how they got to stay at the Ronald McDonald house her parents had good paying jobs. I thought it was more for lower income. Can't understand that.
@@xxthatsnotmexx I don't know about that. They have good cancer hospitals in almost all the states. It probably they don't have insurance so they pay to put the family up and the bill for free.
@Bob S yeah but that doesn't mean they have the treatment for a specific cancer. There are thousands of variations of cancer. Not to mention just because it's in the state doesn't mean it's in the city they live in, especially back in the 1980s.

A lot easier though when your kid isn't 6 feet under.
This is just a horrid brag, isn’t it?
So she gets treatments that cause nausea and vomiting, and they scold her because she can't eat? Incredible.

Amazes me how far we've com in childhood cancer, now we can cure 85% of childhood cancer bc of the research, then it was a death wish
A death ‘WISH’. You imbecile.
Despite what that idiot woman says, most dads don’t run away when their kid has cancer!
Is her parents still alive
Her dad passed away in 2016.

No it's for families who have to travel far from home for their child's cancer treatment, so that the family can stay together.

@Bob S like it literally has nothing to do with insurance, go to the website and read it.
Your comments are strange..
