Went to college in Santa Cruz, haven't played this track since in 15 yrs but good to see it's still in great condition. Those trees definitely frame the course nicely and make for a tight test on the tee.
You’re trying to do too much. You’re not good enough to do too much. Simplify the game and play within your game. Thanks for the video. Tough course for sure. Thanks again bro. 🤙🏼
Man those kinds of tracks are scary for me. You have a video on Tilden Park in Berkeley? I'm playing there Sunday and man, it seems like one of those scary courses. lol
No video there it's a little too far north for me. Good luck! These types of courses off the tee are critical. Gotta rely on your go to fairway finder 👍
That looks like a challenging course. You still had some great chips and shots throughout the round. I am not sure but maybe the course you are thinking of is Seascape in the Capitola area. I played that one and that was fun but challenging as well. How did James do. Was this his first course after his lesson with Matt. Would love to know his progress as well. Great video and looking forward to the next one.
James was good through like 12 holes and then it all went a little downhill after that haha. Definitely improving we are thinking about doing a series on him 💪
@@GolfParfection I would love to see that. I just had a big breakthrough with Matt today in our lesson. Now I just need to implement that on the course. @James, Good luck man. Keep it up.
Whenever I get on the tee at ten I tell it it’s my favorite hole and that I love it, the other players talk trash about it then play it like trash. I always do well on it, we’re buds
I use to power a lot back in the day but stopped a few years back before I started my channel (was in the 1k club). I kept hurting my lower back but I'm going to start lifting again soon I hope and maybe do some speed training. I do get a lot of calve comments and they look nice on camera 😂
Looking forward to seeing the change when / if you start again. Did wonders for my game, but mostly because my core strengthened so much. I rotate between squats and deadlift 4 to 6 times a week, depends on how sore I am 😅
You should play Spring Hills Golf Course down in Watsonville, fun course, use driver a bunch. My brother in law and I play it every week lol you're invited whenever 👍🏻
Great video, yardage, club selection, etc. Love Dela. Thank You!
You're too kind 🙏 appreciate it!
Thanks for showcasing my local course. I play there twice a week for the last 30 years. You didn’t have to re-tee on 10, it plays as a lateral.
We all felt the pain in the blow up hole. Man that hurts. Great video, looking forward to the next.

Yeah it's always a fun one you gotta make shots! There are no mindless "just advance the ball" holes at this course.
Good video and nice swing
Great stuff! Dela is a tough little track. The last course in the area you might be thinking of is Seascape out in Aptos.
Ah yes Seascape! Need to check that one out too.
@@GolfParfection I just played there this past weekend, greens were looking awesome.

Great video! Dela is such a tough course! Sneaky hard! Great content as always #831golf
😁nice video!
Nice but those blow up holes are killing us ! Thanks again for the course vlog great work !
Yeah I always seem to have that one blow up hole haha. One day I'll string it all together 💪
Haha you played good! Hopefully next I’ll be able to join you!
Maybe we can get out to play seascape?!
@@GolfParfection Pajaro is a fun place to play. Seascape your playing through houses the whole time.

Hole 10 is evil man. I'm local to DeLa and that hole always kills me.
luv u
Played this course a few years back. I think I shot 10 or 11 on number 10 with my 12 index. Hole just felt weird and didn't fit my eye or something.
Hole 10 is def the worst hole there for many reasons haha

Great video as always.
Do you train any powerlifting? Those calves are huge!

Noted! I need more courses to play so I am expanding my horizons.
Spring hills is my favorite course, summer 2024 and it’s in great shape, staff is amazing, just a really fun and beautiful course
You have a lot of skills. Sharpen them up you will go low for sure. 9i chip n run, money
