I've been using Halo for the past 2 years on my GTR over top Suntek Ultra. It works extremely well and is very easy to apply as seen in Matt's video. Highly recommend for sure!
I did the same thing on my R8's XPEL Stealth PPF and it has amazing properties. When I went to wash the car (6 months later), it took a grand total of 20 min to wash and dry it with my Big Boi dryer. That includes the wheels and calipers (both protected with GTechniq's Wheel/brake ceramic coating). Just an amazing product.
I'll be using Halo on a good friends 2024 Acura Integra in beautiful pearl white. Thanks for a great video, Matt. We will be following with CSL/EXO on the rest of the car.
when kyle call matt middle of the night says "matt my headlights aren't as bright and clear as it use to be" matt response will be" it wasn't me it was bryce" haha
Hello, how long should I wait before I apply Halo after I install the PPF. Do I need to wait 7-10 days till the ppf completely cure and the water evaporate?
I wasn't sure if he was joking or not when he said that. Because in a previous video he said it's stupid to do things for the car for resale, he does them for himself.
Definitely gonna go with CSL and Exo V4 for my first time ever ceramic coating. I think Matt mentioned doing only one layer of CSL and 2 for Exo right? And you can do all three layers on paint, glass and plastic trim. Correct?
Eh, while the market for detailing product is a bit oversaturated (I mean, there's a UA-camr here in PA with his own branded products....yikes) and some brands could just go away, I respectfully disagree. Companies like Meguiars, P&S, Collinite, CarPro, etc. do still have a place, at least for me as they carry products I like and use.
@@HammerPowered Thats not what I meant. I was simply saying Gtechniq have all bases covered and each of their products is as good or better than anything else.

Did it actually last for 2 years?
The viper green is such a great color, but I do love mine in the oryx white. I need PPF and Xpel put on mine next spring.
I just picked up a bottle of Halo for my fully PPF’d Tesla Model Y. I can’t wait to see the results!

Cracked up when Kyle buffed the hood right after u rubbed ur face on it at the end 😂😂
Will be purchasing this and applying once I pick-up my ModelY that's getting wrapped. Thanks for the video.
“Still looks green!”. LMAO. I second the Fake Detailer Certified shirt!
last weekend i put Halo on Xpel ultimate plus. i agree, slickness is very good 😀
Next OG shirt: Fake Detailer Certified.
The “cheek test” is my new gauge for slickness.
Ha, ha...
23:11 Kyle's got some polishing to do on the black section to remove that lol! HALO is such a nice product
More Golf R videos, just picked one up this week
Hahaha..I did my first coating yesterday..I just understood what is the separation line for...to tuck in the freakin suede....thanks for the tip.
waiting for a version of graphene coating specifically for PPF, lol
Prolly a long, long wait. 😆
Spoiler Alert! This isn’t a “How To”; This is a “How Matty.”
How long do you wait between coats if you do two? Also, how long is the cure time after the last coat? Thanks!
Halo is just for the PPF'd parts of the car. What do you put on the rest of the non-ppf areas?
Gtechniq CSL/EXO
Yessss lets mod the Golf R!!

It's a good idea to let it flash before you wipe it.
Next t-shirt idea..."SHUT UP BRYCE!" lol!
Hi, what kind of fiber and brushes do you use?
Matt, I always say “fake it till you make it”
lol omg matt puts face to hood hahaha
More Golf R content please.
Matt have you tested other PPF coatings?
Err on the side of smaller is really good advice for Halo. That is unless you want to rebuff and polish your hood like I did. doh!
Interesting comment, PPF you do for resale? I live in MA so winters can sometimes be brutal.
I always avoid PPF if at all possible. Paint looks much better without it.

@@ObsessedGarage why would PPF make
It look worse?
Can I lay Exo as top for Halo?
I just put crystal serum light on everything

Water spot prevention video?
I’ve enjoyed CSL, But I still prefer Cquartz 🤷🏾♂️
Yeah...UK 3.0 is really good too.
Can CSL and EVO be used ontop of PPF?
It usually can. Some PPF top coats don't play well with it. I really think this Halo is the way to go.
@@ObsessedGarage awesome thanks bud.
I checked out for a while, did Matt lose some weight?
Matty smooooooooth....

@Joey Greco right, thanks
Yes, I did one CSL, 2 EXO, per Matt. 4 months later, the car looks better than showroom, to me.
No RTFM for Matt.
$49 for a MiniMatch? Let me mark my calendar....
poor Jeff and Bryce taking the abuse haha.
Other than Gtechniq there really is no need for any other detailing product company to exist.

@@73henny Thanks for clarifying, because that obviously wasn't how I took it...
Chemical guys makes quality protects for regular washing / maintenance
Lol final face test.
I feel sorry for you americans with the orange reflector laws
Me too. Ha, ha... Thanks for the condolences.
