Tom Tommy If you’re visiting Vancouver Miku, Minami (higher priced) are pretty easy to get to by skytrain in downtown Vancouver and are pretty famous sushi places. Raisu, octopus garden and green leaf sushi are also pretty good and are less pricy in Vancouver Kitsilano area. Generally I wouldn’t suggest you to eat sushi in Richmond.
amateurranconteur I’m not sure what you mean by “textbox area” we do have the list in the description however. Thanks for the advice though I will google it :).
Grew up in Vancouver, haven’t set foot in Richmond for more than 10 years. Food looks legit! Some of the places I used to frequent are no longer around, but this sure brings up memories! Are you Taiwanese?
Richmond is great for asian food obviously because of the high concentration of asians there... but don't forget the greater vancouver area even if you have to go to places like actual downtown Vancouver or Burnaby or what not
You can’t go to Hong Kong now due to vivid restrictions if you’re unvaccinated but you can just cross the oak st bridge to Richmond and experience “Hong Kong” in our very own back yard of Richmond BC
You've been in Richmond for far too long, I understand the loyalty. Be kind to yourself, and head to Toronto & Markham with both classical & and high-end dim sum places in 2024. It will change your opinion fairly quickly on where to have the best dim sum in North America without any doubts.
Yuck! I found the food at Chef Tony's to be disgusting. They like to splash over-powering black truffle oil liberally over otherwise traditional dishes. Very disappointing. I'll try Kirin next.
Chef Tony is the worth dim sum restaurant. There is one in Los Angeles. The selection is limited. Over price and food is not good at all. Seriously question your taste.
The best dim sum in North America is still in San Francisco/Bay Area (Sunset or Richmond district). I'd probably rate Los Angeles (San Gabriel Valley) number 2. Don't get me wrong the Vancouver spots you named are pretty decent but the other 2 still tops it for me.
Jadet T Awesome! Do you know the name of the restaurants in San Francisco or LA? I actually go there quite often I would love to try those out myself :)
@@goosenuggets3273 Yank Sing, Koi Palace both in San Francisco, East Ocean in Emeryville. Red China, Elite, NBC and Seafood Harbor in San Gabriel Valley.
@@jadett6282 yank sing is way overpriced and did not taste very good at all. Most of their clienteles are ghosts from financial district. 🤑 Koi food is good but atmosphere is just very noisy. Can't really enjoy the food there.
You called Pakland Restaurant one of five best Chinese restaurants in Richmond? Well, they went out of the business. No Chinese goes to that shitty place.
I just found your videos and I’m in Richmond now. It’s too bad I’m 5 years too late. Love to have dim sum with ya.
Pink Pearl in Vancouver. Been going there for MANY years and always enjoyed the food.
Watched all of the top 5 dim sum videos. Prepping for my trip to Vancouver. Keep the videos up.
Peter Lau Niceee!!!!! Today’s weather 23 degrees sunny breeze! The perfect time to visit.
Great video I really enjoyed this! I love dynasty seafood restaurant as my fav
Really enjoyed watching the video. :)
Eyginhard Nunziato thanks for watching we’re always glad to hear that :)

Freshpress!
Chef Tony is too pretentious along with the other on this list. I'm more into the down to earth comfort restaurants over style and decor.
I'm going to vancouver in a few days -- which is your favorite dimsum restaurant -- I prefer comfort to style and decor.
Why are so many Chinese in Canada ?
Sun Sui Wah is also good. Tried it yet? Not bad, eh?
頤東很一般,所謂fusion 吧,但味道真的沒什麽驚喜,價格不值得。

Really? Ya if you don’t like Chef Tony’s style, which is more modern twist, I know you will like Kirin. Because Kirin is more traditional taste.
Chef Tony is expensive
It’s not the cheapest
All expensive restaurants.
Very misleading. It should say top dimsum in RICHMOND, not Vancouver.
COVID-19

Chef Tony is one of the worst dim sum spot in Richmond. Your review is terrible.
If you think you have imparted information to us, you have not. You should have listed these restaurants. Not everyone can understand your English.
