I love your wording when you are describing the food, and they are not scripted as well, just instant reactions, which makes it even better. Feel like this is something a lot of vloggers are missing.
Try these tooo: - Ngon banh mi and tea (ngon special $9, duri duri $8.25) - Chicko Chicken (Yangteom chicken, soy garlic chicken, cheese snow chicken $14 each) - Le petit saigon (Grill pork chop, shredded pork, meat cake w rice $17) - Western lake Chinese seafood restaurant (Dimsum) - Chosun BBQ (Bbq sets are great with lots of Korean side dishes) - Happy lamb hot pot (all you can eat) - Thanh Xuan restaurant (Banh cuon $15) - Hoi An Cafe (Banh beo, Cao Lau, Mi Quang) - Commercial Sushi ( Bento box if you want a large portion with cheap price and fast serving)
I’m so glad I found your video. I ended up going to Phnom Penh after seeing the dishes and I also ordered your top three and then some. The food was delicious! Thank you!
Just went to Tom Sushi because of your video, and THANK YOU!!! It was definitely one of the best meals we have ever had. The Salmon Aburi sushi was incredible! The service was impeccable and reasonably priced for the quality. Definitely wouldnt have known to go there without this video.
I took my daughter into P place and one of the first places had a shark fin on display in the front of the store. My daughter cringed and asked what it was. We left. SAvages
Emma! Thanks so much for the recs. I just came back from Vancouver and tried out Tom Sushi, Mello, and Phnom Penh. All of them were great, I wouldn't have known about them without this video
Great video ! I'm heading to Vancouver BC at the end of April for the Richmond Night Market. I hope it's still happening since it closed for Covid. I definitely want to try Phnom Penh ! I really like how you have the restaurant name and address on the screen as well as what you ordered and it's price !
Thank you for suggesting Tom Sushi, the Salmon Jalapeno Aburi Hako was definitely something to write home about! Everything was sooooo good. From the Miso soup to the scallop Motoyaki!
Thank you for this video! Loved your suggestions and reactions to each food. Also loved the price breakdown. I think it would be super helpful if you could also put timestamps or sections for each restaurant in your videos for ease.
@@greenilandsAny part of Vancouver or suburbs is extremely safe. However, you’re more likely to run into beggars or homeless people anywhere near the Downtown Eastside, next to Chinatown, but that’s only dangerous to your empathy.
the food they all look good, thanks for sharing we might go there on August. I was surprise she can ate a lot the sushi lol and rice with meat amazing girl. I only can eat nigiri already full, cant eat too much rice.
Damn I just went to #3 yesterday evening even before I watched this video! Use to hit this spot a few times when I lived here! Now living in London UK. Glad it’s made top 3!
Thanks Emma for your interesting and informative video. We are going to Vancouver from NZ around mid August. Definitely going to try some of your suggestions 😃. Btw, just checking.. how's the tips there? I am not familiar with the tips thingy. Looking forward to hearing your advice. Thanks again
I did not get to try out Phnom Penh and Tom Sushi but I did try Bun Cha Ca Hoang Yen. That place is legit and they give a lot of meat for your pho. Delicious and value place.
Just tried the Phnom Pehn location due to your recommendation. Butter chicken was 🔥🔥👍 Their butter beef was okay. Also tried their lemongrass chicken and was super disappointed. As a Cambodian, I don’t know if the chef was just off with their cooking that day but it tasted like a water downed version of what legit Cambodian lemongrass chicken is. Also I the owners didn’t seem to be 100% Cambodian, definitely seemed like they were mixed with Chinese or Vietnamese. Maybe that’s why their Cambodian flavor was off, but the Vietnamese food was good.
That's what I was saying when I was watching this video. Phnom Penh restaurant had no khmer writing on their signage nor their menu, most of the foods are vietnamese, barely any cambodian dishes... not sure why it's called Phnom Penh Restaurant...
do you work at the aquarium by chance? thought i saw you... Btw, I went to two of the places while visiting because of this video, thank you. Both delicious.
I've just checked the menu. 11 USD for a "hu tiu nam vang". How scary! 3-4 times more expensive for a similar high quality dish in Vietnam. Thanks for the recommendation though!
“Three must try restaurants “ in Vancouver and its all Asian. Guess we don’t have any other food (Latino, German, Ukrainian, Italian, Ethiopian, etc) ???
The nigiri pieces you mentioned did not look like toro...those who have had toro of any kind would know. You might of gotten served Escolar instead which restaurants pass off as toro. Also Hamachi is not tuna...
I've been there at phon pehn I don't see what the rave is about that restraunt. That place is dire need of a renovation it's really outdated and food I'd expensive there for no investment in reno. Place is way over rated
I am Canadian born and raised. I lived in Vancouver for about 30 years and have tried to like Asian food. By and large it just sucks. I have tried EVERYTHING. Some really gross stuff is Shanghai. Who takes good food and just boils the crap out of it? Then try to make up for that centuries old mistake by drowning it in sauce. Mongolian kinda makes up for that travesty. Some of the sushi is not bad but that mostly just sucks. It's sad this person advertises THREE restaurants and never leaves chinatown???? crikey
I love your wording when you are describing the food, and they are not scripted as well, just instant reactions, which makes it even better. Feel like this is something a lot of vloggers are missing.
