I want to say this is the best video of the JW ride on UA-cam!!! I noticed many details that stand out, it's filmed in high res 4k, no water on the lenses, camera angle timing perfect, and great sound! A great example for other UA-cam filmers!
On the bus to Universal, someone told my mom and me that this ride really wasn't worth it. I was pleasantly surprised. My only regret is that we went on it during the coldest part of the day.
Your footage on the brand new ride is The Most Satisfying to watch, compared to the others who also already uploaded on UA-cam. I could feel the clarity of the journey althogh it's just on screen. I had no idea that they stopped the boat as Indominus & T-rex were about to fight. That must've gotten the passengers thrilled. You also didn't forget to shoot the last falling-down trail clearly. And many I couldn't explain. Thank you for the video you're letting us feel and experience the ride. I wish one day I could be there.

Great video, loving the quality! Personally I think the story makes a bit more sense in the older version. Also the fact you could see the boat ahead of you go over the top before you started the ride yourself, but then you see a boat half-capsized later on before you get diverted into the raptor area was a nice, tense touch. I’m glad they kept most of the original ride. I went back in 2008 when I was in 5th grade and I’ll never forget how suprised I was at that drop after the t-Rex.

Nostalgia is nice, but realism is better. Well, it's finally here! Jurassic World the ride! Thanks for the video, and I'll admit, this looks cool although I'm about 75% impressed. The opening with the mosasaur was pretty cool, and glad that was the only screen based effect on the ride. The animatronics move fluently again, which is awesome to see! However, I'm not sure if they kept the Stegosaurus and Parasaurolophus out of respect for the original ride, or cutting corners. I really thought they could have taken the opportunity for new dinosaus. For example, since this is a RIVER ride, they could have had a Baryonyx at the river edge feeding off fish. Also, the Indominus vs T-rex fight wasn't really what I was expecting. They kept the Rex animatronic in place from the original, which again, I don't know of that's respect or cutting corners. I wasnt expecting an actual 'fight', since that would be very dangerous for guests, but I was thinking they could have had The Indominus Rex and Tyrannosaurs standing on opposite ends of the track, roaring at each other, and the raft passes underneath them, and immediately drops.
Actually this isn't the same T. rex model from the original. It looks like they updated it with a model seen in other parks such as Universal Orlando and Universal Japan. They DID put it in the same place though.
Reckon it's the same animatronic. Range hasn't moved an inch. They'd probably have to tear up the whole fuckin building to shift its base or bring in a whole new animatronic.

Thoughts on the ride. I think it’s super cool! The water dinosaur (idk how to spell it’s actually name) looked pretty great and I loved the water element, really kept you immersed. And the screen with workers and Owen looked really nice, Him giving you advice was super cool! The new dinosaur look really great too! The new raptor at the end making its callings was such a cool thing to add. I’ll my one wish was that the indominous would was screamed like the t-Rex did at the end, it was just kinda chillin. Predator cove being empty of animatronics and movement was probably the worst part. They could have solved it with the gyrosphere dropping where the car used to be.
They should have kept attraction closed untill it's completion. This looks like a disappointment. The only thing that was amazing was the underwater scene at beginning the rest of it was blank areas with no animatronics and the animatronics that were there are still the same not really impressed with how it came out. I can only hope there will be major improvements added like maybe MORE DINOSAURS AROUND THE OUTSIDE AREAS!
Horacio Linares I understand the vision of what you were expecting but I knew right from the beginning 8 months was not long enough to make any significant structural changes.
Because of the refurbishment update. The original ride was massively overhauled and enhanced with cgi animation and special effects, making the ride smoother longer and better. More audio animatronics were added to round out the story as well as other aesthetic elements to further make the story and ride much more impressive and intense than it once was. All in all. The closure of the ride for this update was worth it as Jurrasic park the ride became Jurrasic world and it was worth the wait. It was closed for if I recall nearly a year. Between rebranding for the newer films and retheming as well as tearing down the old entrance and more. They were well in the right to be overly eccentric and extremely excited
For once, Universal has managed to not make a complete banter ride and actually seems as if they've made something good out of a previous attraction. Love to see it
@@fuzzy06_ Doubtful. T-Rex hasn't moved bases, they'd have to tear down the whole damn building, which they didn't. The I Rex might take a lunge towards it, but the range hasn't changed an inch, lest they bring in a whole new animatronic, which they'd have to also open up the building for. Best thing they can do is get voicelines from Pratt or SJP.
One other thing that I noticed was the waterfall the t-Rex used to hide behind is missing. I think they should bring that back and still do the reveal before dropping.

The only thing that was amazing was the underwater scene at beginning the rest of it was blank areas with no animatronics and the animatronics that were there are still the same not really impressed with how it came out. I can only hope there will be major improvements added like maybe MORE DINOSAURS AROUND THE OUTSIDE AREAS!
Horacio Linares I understand the vision of what you were expecting but I knew right from the beginning 8 months was not long enough to make any significant structural changes.
That's actually a great idea. Or just even a few broken ones lying or wobbling around (limited movement) would add so much to that area.

Because of the refurbishment update. The original ride was massively overhauled and enhanced with cgi animation and special effects, making the ride smoother longer and better. More audio animatronics were added to round out the story as well as other aesthetic elements to further make the story and ride much more impressive and intense than it once was. All in all. The closure of the ride for this update was worth it as Jurrasic park the ride became Jurrasic world and it was worth the wait. It was closed for if I recall nearly a year. Between rebranding for the newer films and retheming as well as tearing down the old entrance and more. They were well in the right to be overly eccentric and extremely excited

@@fuzzy06_ Doubtful. T-Rex hasn't moved bases, they'd have to tear down the whole damn building, which they didn't. The I Rex might take a lunge towards it, but the range hasn't changed an inch, lest they bring in a whole new animatronic, which they'd have to also open up the building for. Best thing they can do is get voicelines from Pratt or SJP.

All that careful engineering and special effects ingenuity to get a dozen frat bros to go "WOOOO!"
One other thing that I noticed was the waterfall the t-Rex used to hide behind is missing. I think they should bring that back and still do the reveal before dropping.
I have a feeling they will. It’s in the soft opening phase so there are probably some affects that weren’t on or weren’t working properly yet
