@Aus Tronaut yes I checked the profile image and though, why would somebody in Primary school be a screamer. I then burnt all Hard Drives and checked for a FBI van out front just for pondering it.
You really need to add a spoiler warning for this one. Because [spoiler] a lot of the thrill the first time on is sitting at the broken track not knowing what was going to happen. I went into the ride with my 5 yo son completely unaware of what to expect, and that is still an important part of the memory, even now that I've ridden it many times. That being said, Expedition Everest is one of my favorite roller coasters in the country. I've ridden a lot of great ones (Magic Mountain, Cedar Point, Busch Gardens (btw, try the new Pantheon at Williamsburg - sweet!), but EE is right there. No, it's not as fast and doesn't have the inversions, but the immersion experience is just so great. Just watching the video here, you get the feeling of exploring the Himalayas, up until things take off. Beautifully designed and executed. I could ride it all day, it's just that enjoyable. I haven't been to the new Star Wars stuff at DW, but with EE and Avatar's Flight of Passage, the rides at Animal Kingdom are among the elite not just of Disney, but compete with the best of the other parks. You don't say that about many Disney rides ever (Toy Story in Hollywood Studios, maybe?) , but this is a spot where they hit the mark. The great thing is, it's not going to make you sick to your stomach. It can scare you with being dark and [spoiler] going backwards, but it's not going to shake you up. So young kids can ride (and cover their eyes on the scary parts) I love this ride.
They need to lighten the yeti down to where the support structure can handle it's weight. Make it a bit smaller with a big arm made from foam and aluminum.
I personally wasn’t ready for this ride when I went on it. My brother described it as big thunder mountain . But even though I felt my entire soul leave my body, I’d go on it again! Definitely a unique experience
Rode this for the first time last week. I LOVED IT!! My sister convinced me to go on it with her, since she had already been on it and loved it. I will admit on most of the drops I closed my eyes and screamed my throat out 😂😂 but it was SO MUCH FUN!! After we got off we wanted to go again but the ride broke down, so we ended up going back to ride it again later. Seriously, if you are ever blessed with the opportunity to ride this coaster, DO IT!!! I never used to like roller coasters but i LOVED this one and it helped me gain confidence when going on other rides.
The best ride that I've ever been on, period, especially when you factor in the experience beforehand in the queue, and the anticipation, plus the beautiful view at the top of the mountain.
One Universe The anticipation and the other riders screaming gave me a anxiety/panic attack so I couldn’t go on the ride. My dad was so mad because we paid for fast passes for that ride. I was only 8 so like, what did u expect lol😂🤣
Roller coasters, if nothing else, are an engineering spectacle. The idea that humans have figured out a way to move this large vehicle with many people in it, at high speeds, across what are effectively two steel beams held together is impressive.
When you are going backwards in the dark tunnel, it feels like you are upside-down but you are actually going sideways and it swirls around a few times!
This is definitely Disney's most intense Rollercoaster. Not only for the speed but the tension behind the story being told. Only the most daring ride on this one! I sure as hell loved it from start to finish!
@@ArchyNFL Both set up the story and atmosphere of a runaway train from a Yeti. This one's just more extreme than the Matterhorn in Disneyland in my opinion.
Would you say that this is more intense than Rock n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios? A lot of people say that that one is Disney's most intense coaster since it actually goes upside down. I know Everest doesn't go upside down, but some people seem to think that the backwards part feels like an inversion.
@@hannahroberts673 I wish I could say but that coaster was down and out when I visited so I couldn't ride it. But I really want to ride that one too. I love launch coasters!
I went to Disney for the first time in my life back in 2014... I was a pre-teen. I remembered glimpses of this ride until right now, and all the happy memories came flooding back! Thanks for bringing back some of my happiest memories!
I can’t tell you how fearful this video is . Good that I am watching this video after the ride to see what actually happened . This is the most scariest ride in entire Disney for me . I felt even tron and avatar and gog to be light . This is the dad of all rides .
I put the time stamp there for a reason. I was quoting the little child who very plainly said _“I don’t like this part.”_ I personally love that ride! I just thought the way the kid said it was really funny.
I remember when my family brought me to this park in the US when i was a kid. Jesus, those broken train tracks before the coaster went backwards is forever imprinted in my memory.
The funniest experience I've ever had was when me and my mom (who are both roller coaster addicts) were sitting in front of these two kids who were just screaming "Lord have mercy" at the top of their lungs the entire time
riding this with my boyfriend when i was 16 was one of the most fun experiences of my life. i loved it. it's not too intense but also not mild. and i absolutely loved the yeti museum around the line.
2:02 If the Abominable snowman was real, I imagine Everest would not be climbed a lot lol. In fact, nobody would want to venture up those mountains. However if the Yeti did exist, it probably wouldn’t be able to survive above 8,000 meters. It probably would have lived mostly where Everest base camp is, Khumbu glacier valley to as high as the top of the Khumbu Icefall.
@@beazrich2.017 Technically the yeti doesn't live in Everest. He lives in the forbidden mountain, which is DIFFERENT from Everest. In the ride, you never actually reach Everest, that's just your destination. You're taking a shortcut through the forbidden mountain because it's supposed to be cheaper, and they think the yet isn't real
Wasn’t scary my butt! I know where the yeti is and I know he doesn’t move but every time I see him I still scream and duck down likes he’s about to scoop me up out of my seat!
i love how much effort disney puts into decorating and theming their rides. the coaster on its own is awesome but the theming just gives it that extra element that you can’t just find everywhere.

One of the first things i hear: “I’m a screamer” me too buddy
😏
I usually just end up laughing, not screaming
I love this. 💛
@Aus Tronaut yes I checked the profile image and though, why would somebody in Primary school be a screamer. I then burnt all Hard Drives and checked for a FBI van out front just for pondering it.
Spockgirl Trekkie don’t think she’s talking roller coasters my friend
1:44 that goofy sound broke youtubes copyright algorithms
This man is a combination of Goofy, Angry Birds, and Mario when he screams
hey look, were the same.
LMAO THIS 😭😭😭😭
You really need to add a spoiler warning for this one.
So young kids can ride (and cover their eyes on the scary parts)
I love this ride.
Someday they’ll fix the Yeti.
Someday...
The Cinematic Mind this could be this could be ordinary
Good Luck with that. It would mean replacing the foundation that the Yeti stands on, and building one with 50% more strength.
And Yetis will fly out of my butt.
They need to lighten the yeti down to where the support structure can handle it's weight. Make it a bit smaller with a big arm made from foam and aluminum.
It's set to be renovated soon.
2:57 the scream went from piano to mezzo forte
😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
You play piano I see.
@@rooeykamishiro or literally any instrument

I personally wasn’t ready for this ride when I went on it. My brother described it as big thunder mountain . But even though I felt my entire soul leave my body, I’d go on it again! Definitely a unique experience
I went on there when I was younger and I cried the whole time
I rode on it 2 times!!! I loved it!!!
I went on it when i was 7-8 years old such a fun ride!
Djk34💘💝🥰🥰 are you single how old you are

Rode this for the first time last week. I LOVED IT!! My sister convinced me to go on it with her, since she had already been on it and loved it. I will admit on most of the drops I closed my eyes and screamed my throat out 😂😂 but it was SO MUCH FUN!! After we got off we wanted to go again but the ride broke down, so we ended up going back to ride it again later. Seriously, if you are ever blessed with the opportunity to ride this coaster, DO IT!!! I never used to like roller coasters but i LOVED this one and it helped me gain confidence when going on other rides.
2:28 lol I love that guys scream🤣🤣🤣
Oml 😂😂
He becomes goofy at 1:45 and then mario at 2:30 😂😂👏🏻
The best ride that I've ever been on, period, especially when you factor in the experience beforehand in the queue, and the anticipation, plus the beautiful view at the top of the mountain.
One Universe The anticipation and the other riders screaming gave me a anxiety/panic attack so I couldn’t go on the ride. My dad was so mad because we paid for fast passes for that ride. I was only 8 so like, what did u expect lol😂🤣
These rides have got to be an absolute BLAST to design.
Not at all

Roller coasters, if nothing else, are an engineering spectacle. The idea that humans have figured out a way to move this large vehicle with many people in it, at high speeds, across what are effectively two steel beams held together is impressive.
Yes
Wait until bro finds out about trains
@@win_cie😂
And mind-bogglingly nerve explodingly ….disturbing. ❤️🐈
And the two track switches.. 😮
When you are going backwards in the dark tunnel, it feels like you are upside-down but you are actually going sideways and it swirls around a few times!
Porter Fan Page when i went on it i totally thought i went upside down but i know i didnt! haha
IT DOES?!? I THOUGH I WAS UPSIDE DOWN
That part is so intense to me I thought I was upside down too
@@doyoureallyneedtoknowmynam9480 You were upside down.
Porter Fan Page no. It just feels that you are going backwards. That’s all.
This is definitely Disney's most intense Rollercoaster. Not only for the speed but the tension behind the story being told.
Only the most daring ride on this one! I sure as hell loved it from start to finish!
What’s the story?
@@hannahroberts673 This is probably the 3rd most intense ride. Rock n' Roller and Tower of Terror get 1 and 2.
theres something soothing about hearing people yelling in pure joy in these coaster POV videos
When I first rode this I didn't expect that broken track part, and when I heard the noise of the track moving behind us I was terrified lol.
So true!! We got on it today…and when it went backwards in the dark- WHEW!! That was an experience 😭😩
At 2:02 imagine if the Abominable snowman aka the Yeti actually existed in real life? that would be epic.
i guess i ruined the twist by watching this video.

@@least.insane.femboy Hello fellow Canadian.

Disney coasters are another level. I went ok the tower of terror in Florida before they took it down. Easily the coolest ride I’ve ever been on.

The funniest experience I've ever had was when me and my mom (who are both roller coaster addicts) were sitting in front of these two kids who were just screaming "Lord have mercy" at the top of their lungs the entire time
That was honestly probably me and my cousin 🤐
The abominable snowman aka the “Yeti” is what made the ride awesome.

Really great. A very unusual track design
This was the best ride. Felt Nepal everywhere. Highly recommended.
I had a great time just watching the video. Bravo to Disney for this one.
