Guile Ultra Street Fighter IV - Changes and Red Focus Combo

  • There are two changes that have not been published in the ultra oficials notes:
    Guile
    Ultra 2 juggle potential on all hits increased by 1
    Ultra 2 Damage distribution changed (in addition to just raw damage). Previously 90*30x4*90(300) now 90*42x4*72 (330)

    How to make use of the new U1 changes? Can show some examples? I found that u1 changes only good on paper, practically it is still useless as before. :(

      Capcom Fighters 's combofiend intentionally makes Guile's U1 much more useless in USF4. U1 changes in JP arcade was good, but had been scraped. maybe capcom hates Guile's U1 for unknown reason.

      only good use i found for u1 was to help me on wakeup during low health. I use ultra combo double but only use u1 in tight situations. It comes in handy vs jumping characters like yun

    how do you to UDK -> cr.mp -> FK?
    i cant do it however i tried, FK will never come out. only UDK -> cr.lp -> cr.mp -> FK works

      It is hard. You need to cancel cr.mp into flaskick as late as possible. Try to do it in trainning, only cr.mp xx flash kick as late you can.

      my friend, its called delay cancelling. you basically practice cancelling guile mp as late as much into fk aka. press up + kick in the latest frame of mp.

    rolling sobat/reverse spink > cr.mp > fk fucking hard ._. and also plinking in Pc version is hella hard

    U1 is useless for me, I always play u2(even in ae).
    I prefer the u1 from ae 2012 because of damage. Now you can red focus u1 but low damage.
    Now it supposed to work better like anti-air, but no one go to jump if you are crouching.
    It is 1 frame easier to connect after super combo(low or medium kick)

      saw an USF4 vid where ken vs guile. when guile did U1 on wakeup (ken jumped in on knockdown) for punishment, ken just simply lk on air and guile U1 canceled out. lel
