- Hi guys, in this video I'm trying my hand at producing Makina for the FIRST TIME in Ableton Live 10.
Makina is a sub genre of Hardcore Techno, similar to UK Hardcore and it originated in Spain around 1990. Makina then became really popular in the North East of England from around 1999 to 2006, and is still reletively popular today!
This video is less of a Makina production tutorial and more of a run through me producing a Makina tune. I do talk a little bit about certain aspects that go into writing a Makina tune but I was mainly trying to have a bit of fun and be creative.
