Not saying it’s not possible but definitely not easy. Easier to take the little pin out that clicks than to add all the different pieces to make it click
@ordansbrazy128 - I actually prefer the clicks. I've been using the click clipper for about 10 years now and it feels tough transitioning to no-click clipper levers.
So I have the loProFX gold and I just removed the latter side instead of the cylinder and they work perfectly I used a pick to pry them out and it worked.
I'm not a barber or stylist but I am surprised at the number of folks wanting to get rid of the clicks. I am trying to find reasonably-priced clippers with click-levers. I am always cutting my own hair, sometimes a buzz cut, sometimes a more involved cut. The clicks are a great for me because I am often holding the trimmer up behind my own head and doing my best to not mangle my haircut. Without the clicks, it is kinda difficult to keep the lever in one position, much less actually adjust it while in use. I guess most people are not cutting their own hair. I see how as a real professional that you would want total fluid control over the paper lever, but for me the clicks are a real bonus. Is there a way to ADD clicks to a click-less taper lever?
hey bro, i have a ciicii 1986 clipper and its a floating lever. The problem for me is that i dont know what step it is on. how do i fade with it? like i cant see when its in 3/4 or anything. Please help
With new blades that I got, they are tapper blades, i cant get 0,5 mm with lever closed , they go 1-3mm . This is max with closed lever on my clipper with this blade, cant close the gap more. So is there any video explaining how i stuck guards with this situation, especially half guards? What is the sweet spot as you like to say it? :D Keep the good work sir!
very informative and helpful video man, picked up the boosted and realized none of the clicks wanted to come out, but thankfully there was one lever they decided not to add the click too so Im rocking with that one lol. I also wanted to ask if you could possibly make a thorough video on adjusting the blade (zero gapping it) and on how to get the blade to stop moving. I recently added the stretch bracket on my boosted+ and struggled with getting that blade to stop moving no matter how tight I tightened the screws. As soon as I’d zero gap it and screw everything back in and turn the clipper on the blade would shift and wiggle. Im not quite sure if I just did it wrong but man would my blade wiggle a whole lot
@@raymond4628it is common the blades moves when it’s on and you can notice how much it has moved once it’s off it’s happened to me for wahl n style craft clippers
Can you make an in depth video on fading with a stretch bracket? Just recently switched my brackets and working on getting more comfortable with it. Thanks!
I always thought click lever was introduced in part to add longevity I don’t know if anyone else got this but my wahl floating levers on the magic clip used to only last me 6 months before wearing down, that being said I did use to cut like a maniac
Do you mind trying that on the Gamma Ergos? I know that they're made by SC so if you can take the click out of the Rebels, you should be able to take it out of the Ergos. I'm not 100% sure though, that's why I asked.
@@verinb9 sorry just seeing this comment. With babyliss clipper they dont have a 0 guard, A 1 guard all the close is a 1/2 guard all the way open And a 1/2 guard close is pretty much a 0 guard open I prefer using andis clippers or some wahl clippers if u are looking for a 0 guard. Personally they help me with getting a really good blend and also they dont have click levers which is a plus
What are the benefits of having the clicks vs not having clicks? I just recently got into barbering and wonder which would be best for me like a pros and cons
Clicks help people know exactly where they are on the lever. Downfall is you can only use those specific lengths and nothing i between. I like having more movement to hit lengths in between the notches
I would most definitely say if you are a beginner barber, having this click lever option is quite helpful so you are closing it a click at a time until that line comes out whereas without the click you could potentially close it to much and set a harsher guideline or take the blend higher then you expected. But its all personal preference. I just think with the click you have a little more room for error lol. If you can definitely get one with and without it I would most definitely do so. Im also wanting to start barbering and have only cut my brother up and man did having both as an option was definitely beneficial
ok... but for those of us that love the trusty magic clip with the staggertooth blade, how do we put a click lever "IN"? (haha) ...i do so wish wahl would offer that option to us! thank u sir
I hate click levers. I just feel it restricts you from really being precise with where you want the lever at. Ofc i can do the same haircut regardless but i like the freedom of being able to slightly lower my lever if i want to lighten a spot up just a tad or vice versa
@@WatsonMiles I have a lopro clipper. And you can't take the ball out of the lever so I super glued the little ball down so I could make it a floating lever!
@chrissergio7178 - I've used a clicking lever clipper for the past 10 years. I just bought a $20 WAHL clipper and can't tell if the clipper blades are dull, or I can't get my adustments right. It's definitely hard to cut the top of peoples heads so I'm going to go with the former.
Have you tried to add the clicks on the WAHL clippers? I would love to see that

Been a game changer getting the boost clippers 💪💪
They’re solid!
Is there a way to add clicking lever to the wahl senior?
I don’t think so
Does the wahl Legend have a click lever

Nice good thinking 👌🏻
Bro how tf did u pry the latter off lmao I been at it for an hour
Can we get a confirmation from Dennis on the removable clicks for the new low pros?
Thinking about getting a second one to have floating.
Idk if I just got luck or what but they came out 🤷🏻♂️

No way to add clicks. I just like removing them because then I have complete freedom on any length within the lever
I know it 's late but is there any way to become the click lever on my jrl 2020c back
Where can i buy a lever for babylis fx please
Do you do deals for multiple enhancement cards like you use to..?
Unfortunately no they’re all through tomb45 at this point
@Seancutshair do you atleast have a discount code to purchase them at any location..?

You just have to eyeball it. I guess you could put markings on the side of the clipper so you could see where the lever is
what about the slime bundle box or the pink bundle box is it the same to float them ? for the tpob?
I would imagine so

Just use a trimmer for the .5 and the rest operates the same

No the clipper has to be made with the notches for the clicks
my sabers lever is hard to move is there any way to make it lighter to move the lever around
Just loosen the screw slightly until it moves how you like
Sean can you tell me if the wahl senior is a good clipper for the beard ? Im not a pro im a beginner but want something good. 🙏🏼

Just the Babyliss taper blade I think they’re a only one kind

Can I get a free pair of clippers slime set??👀

i've lost my spring for the lever, Any tips on where too but anymore? i need it lmaoo
No you’d have to reach out the whatever clipper company or find somebody with an old broken one
Love your vids man 1st 😅
Glad you like them!
Can you take the click out of the goblins?
I'm not sure. Worth a try!
You can just remove the click stub and done.
I filed down the stub(click) on the tpob troll(lopro) and it ended up rattling and ended up using an ol SC apex clipper lever I had.
Barber Version of trying to change your own exhaust lol
That’s what I was thinking last night. Could it be cut off or something like what you did
😂😂😂
Can u use the apex lever with the clicks?
@KalTheBarber Tried it, but that doesn't work out. I would just keep the original troll click lever.
