You two are doing a real service by bringing dance within the reach of many of us who've wanted to try for so long but have been intimidated. We 're just starting dance lessons and your videos are an invaluable adjunct to the in person lessons we're taking. I only wish we lived in proximity to you so as to get in person private lessons.
I commend you for explaining the basic footwork technique of the Easy Coast Swing, which you know is very much like the International Jive. I have experienced too many self-proclaimed dance teachers who had no idea what the technique was for the Jive / East Coast Swing and taught the dance very poorly (as I reflect on my past experiences). By watching how you dance, it is clear you have experience and appears you have competed in Dance competitions before. Having said that, please continue teaching these very important basic techniques and how the methods to improve our technique as well. All of that makes a huge difference, especially for us who do not personal access to experienced skilled teachers like you. Bravo
I have to say this...what moves !! WOW both of you....and between :-) I am not into girls but when I saw Kim`s legs....what a beauty ! Every woman wish for legs like this :-)
Yes this is east coast swing. I know this because I practiced both East Coast Swing for Country competitions and similarly International Jive. Paul Overton and Sharon Ashe are Lindy hop dancers. By the way International Jive dance has a Jumping style and Swing style, which competitors do use interchangeably. Easy Coast swing is similar.

Looks more like Jive to me. ECS usually starts with a side triple step & the rock step is straighter not turned out in a 5th position.

Just to clarify....This is east coast swing...Not lindy hop.

Of course. But this is terrible terrible east coast swing. Look up Paul Overton and Sharon Ashe, in my opinion.
