i like this plane (in flight simulator), lil bit cozy, extremely easy to handle, its interior is slick and car like. there's an instant sense of familiarity you get with this plane that's hard to come by

Very cool aircraft. Jets don't use leaded fuel while piston engine aircraft still do to this day! I wish you would have cut this clip a little longer because that engine spool-up sounds wonderful!

​@@SHOTBYWAVOhe knew it was open. His wife mentioned it because she wasn't sure. He wanted to hear it start with the door open. Checklist might call for door closed as part of departure, pre start or taxi checklist but it's not necessary - maintenance will often start engines with doors open.

Small jets with clamshell doors like that require the engine to be running to run the hydraulics to actuate the door closed, that explains the “thank you” reply she got for pointing out the open door because the pilot obviously knows he can’t even MOVE the aircraft until the door is closed which I’m sure is part of a pre flight checklist.
