The pedal motion isn't balanced at all. You'll end up one leg bigger than the other using this overtime. I can see it causing injuries because of the pedal design.

@@maxmustermann3876 symmetry has nothing to do with it, it’s because they’re independent or semi independent where moving one doesn’t force the other to move, and since the pedal doesn’t fully rotate like a normal bike it has a force (like a spring or something) that resists your pedaling, but since they’re independent you’re dominant leg can consistently exert more power into the system leading to it growing muscle at a different rate than your non-dominant leg. i hope this makes sense at least a bit, im not claiming im 100% right or anything but based on my understanding of engineering (2 1/2 years through an engineering degree) this is my thoughts on it

it is faster, but not because his special pedals, it’s just that recumbent bikes in general are faster, which has been proven in studies
