Garlic is just one of those things that makes a recipe really sing. But garlic is also just as good on its own, particularly when it's done roasted-style!
Whether you're making my famous Roasted Garlic Soup, contest-winning Guacamole or spreading (schmearing) it on some bread (or eating it on its own), you can't go wrong!
Your Instant Pot will handle the steaming of the garlic and then you'll finish it in the oven for a few moments to give it that roasted flavor. Best part? It couldn't be easier and only takes TWO ingredients to achieve such wondrous flavor results: garlic and olive oil!

First I want to say you’re a good educator of food. I do have an instapot 8 quart and often times forget that you can make certain recipes in there to shorten time like oven roasted garlic instead of using the oven on high heat for 45 minutes. There are many recipes for one pot but sometimes intimidating to use. Im very good at making Chilli and stews in there as well as my meat sauce but I don’t know about making cheesecake? I’m actually going to make the roasted garlic in the one-pot your way today for my grilled pork tenderloin. Sometimes I don’t like the sharpness of raw garlic in recipes as well as it’s hard on stomach for some. I’m so glad you shared this recipe of one pot roasted garlic. 🙏

Made the roasted garlic!!! Fansupertastic!!! Smelled soooooo good, dabbed a life behind the ears. Cleared the neighbourhood of any vampires. I was a little generous with the EVO, adding it to the cloves. Tomorrow I'm going to make linguin. Slice a few cremini fungi, sauté them, add a little pinot Grigio, Add some cream and reuse until he sauce coats the back of a spoon, add some roasted garlic and finish it off with a small chiffonade of fresh basil and grana

I just got interested in making black garlic. Care to experiment and report your results? There are a few machines dedicated to this, but it can be made in a rice cooker set on warm. One lady doing this mentioned that 140 degrees F worked well. Black garlic has more nutrients in it and has a sweet, mild taste. It takes 8 to 14 days...most say around 12 days. Most also warn to make it outside or in a garage, as the strong garlic odor will be present the first few days of the process.

: That was my thought also. Conventional oven-roasted garlic only takes an extra 10 minutes more than the Instant Pot method and you don't have to clean the machine after use. I do like my new Instant Pot but, I probably wouldn't use it for roasting garlic.
