Put pharmacy grade honey diluted in warm water on a dessert spoon and put on your eyeball with your clean index finger. You will have an allergic reaction and produce natural tears. As honey is 82% sugar bacteria cannot live in it.
I'm wondering, does a blockage cause a "itchy" feeling? I've got this thing where some eyelashes will start to... "Itch" or cause a irritating feeling. When I pull on them usually a couple will come right out. But I'm never sure if it's the eyelashes themselves (the hair folical) or something else and it's just coincidence. I don't think I have dry eyes.
Could be a number of things. If it's a mild case of blepharitis some lid hygiene (using wipes) 2x daily may help clear it up. Could also go to a clinic and get them to do "blephex" which is basically a spinny tooth brush for your lid margins. (Don't do this one at home!!!!)
Is it even possible to avoid things like dust and pollen? I have dry eyes that are very watery so I'm regularly blotting them and I use these stupidly expensive preservative free drops and the nighttime vitamin a vaseline as well as using a humidifier and a HEPA air filter but it's still a constant problem. Had ana & crp etc all normal. I think I've just permanently damaged my meibomian glands by wearing black kohl in my waterline daily for almost a decade in my teens & early 20s, but that was a decade or more ago so it probably can't be reversed.
Thanks for this video. I have had a life of dry eyes and corneal ulcers. I have had tarsorrhaphies most of my life.

How long will the effect of this procedure last?
Hi, I have had dry eyes for many years and was just diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome. I am wondering if Sjogrens could be a cause?
Yes, absolutely
@@AntonioTheOptom thank you!
