The transliteration of RISA into English can also be LISA because of the Japanese phonetic characteristic of the Kana "ra" or "la". My wife's name is Ritusko or Litsuko in English in which both pronunciations are only approximations of the Japanese pronunciation.
I kinda prefer the RISA version, as Risa in Spanish means "laugh" and considering how much she laughs, it's perfect! hahaha

Is this list written down anywhere? I couldn't find it online. Some, like ビール, are so easy they could easily be in a beginners' video. But for the bigger words and phrases, I'd like to spend more time studying them so a list would be great.

I don't think you can. I've only heard 二十歳 as はたち and that's what you learn in school, too.

sparrow sajan make sure you learn the charts first, makes it easier to learn the words and memorize then when you right them out but i say learn.the charts, basic sentence patterns and then words がんばつて！
