So we’ve bought the 9 10 and 11ft feeders, all perfect for the job apparently. Suddenly we need an 8ft. Somehow feel I’m being sold the same thing again. Maybe I’ll use a move my box back by a 1ft and fish with a 9 😂

I find it so funny when coarse anglers say “match the hatch” - I’ve never seen pellets hatch into pellet flies! Yes, I know what they mean, but as a fly angler, it always gives me a smile.
8ft rod length, I’ve been doing this for ever as I don’t own a pole. You get some proper fish in the last two hours!.

I love my 9ft Preston Ignition feeder (different brand I know) but same principle - my favourite rod. I also use a bait runner reel just in case a big fish darts off when fishing close
8 foot rod - Great video and timely too, started fishing club matches and struggle on a pole with commercial carp so went onto a feeder which I’m comfortable with. Managing to stay competitive with this exact method and it’s a lot less stressful than all the liners and foul hookers I was getting on the pole.

Aquos Ultra-C 8ft Feeder Rod - really great vid and makes total sense having 10/11/12ft feeder rods for distance etc but sometimes the venue doesn't need a chuck and the versatility of short chucks and margins this makes a lot of sense

Good vid mate your using the 8ft aqueous feeder rod n keep the vids coming an your right Wiv the title makes me wanna throw my pole away lol but greatfull to catch fish here in Scotland course n carp fisheries hard to find let Alone buying course or carp tackle as course fishing still in its infancy up here I’m originally from the West Country so imagine how disheartened I was to be struggling to carp n course fish n even buy course gear up here ….. tight lines
