Thanks for this very timely video - had a peg in a friendly match last summer (my first in 20yrs and first ever on a commercial) where my edge was carp soup but I could not catch them. This video will be invaluable when I go back up again end of July for rematch 😊
Great video yet again. Had a peg like that in a evening match this week, I was fortunate to catch 212lb in 4 he's for a match win but more importantly for me it was the first time I cleared the 200lb mark in a match.
Never trusted spade end hooks , they must be okay but I always think after a few fish and maybe disgorger work the line would be damaged at the spade as they appear sharp .
What most people don't know 'scopex' flavour was developed by the late Rod Hutchingson and the ingredients were never released so he took the secret recipe to the grave with him so now a days it's just a name and not the flavour
Hi Andy, I like to mix my groundbait using cheap, fizzy orange pop for that extra sweetness (I might even try strawberry/cherry pop or similar some time ?)
Think Andy is a top guy and angler but these videos are pointless. Fish queing up on the same old well prepped swim ready for filming. Let's start giving us tactics straight from start of fishing first chuck. Show us how to build the swim and how to change if it's not working. Bit bored of same old content. Come on boys let's up our game or is it just there is no more roads to go down? Everything has been shown. 👍

When we go out with our anglers, we aim to get as much content for you guys as possible so I can assure you we don’t have time to prep swims. On this day he plumbed up and had 1 fish before this video started. We get the question of how to stop foul hooking fish loads and this is Andy’s approach to it. We’ve have done plenty of videos previously and in upcoming videos where the fishing has been difficult and we’ve shown how to adjust and build it up.
I agree although conversely, the method it’s self is a method along with other methods which may or may not work on the day. There has to be some prep in peg otherwise it would be a pretty boring video The method is the content, the fish is the enjoyment in the video. Sometimes just need to focus on the method whether he catches or not although will catch 100% of the time to cap off the video, doesn’t necessarily mean method is any less affective
