Excellent video comparison, your description has helped me a lot. I have both implements and an 800’ overgrown gravel driveway. My bad for it getting that way. It looks nice mowed but I’d like to revive it and likely add new gravel. It seems the way to go is to plane it first then rake it for the reasons you mention in your description. What do you think and thanks for your help!
For the same money, I believe you get more for your money with the rake. The land plane is pretty much a 1-trick pony in comparison. Just my 2c though.
Absolutely! The landscape rake will do many things that a land plane won’t. I think the land plane would do great for grading gravel, but a landscape rake does a good job at that too!
@@mittenequipment2443 Exactly. If I had the money to buy a land plane and more room to store it for the two times a year I might use it, then I would think about it. I have neither of those things though. LOL
