Most of the services here are done by appointment only through the website. Ask any foreigner who has done this procedure.
From what I understand you have to fill out a form and take it printed (on the scheduled day) at the Federal Revenue along with your passport. Ask some foreign how to proceed.
Brazil looks like a lot of fun
It definitely is, the people are really friendly here
A place in brazil i'd recommend visiting that is kinda touristy but mostly unknown by english speakers(decent number of Chinese and Korean tourist tho) is Paranapiacaba, it's a historical late 1800s railway town built by the Englishmen about 2h out from São Paulo by public transit (either by taking the metro/train and then a bus for about R$10 each way, or by buying a ticket on a touristic express train that leaves on some weekend days for R$50 both ways), it's a really nice daytrip to take from São Paulo and its not crowded at all during the weekdays.
I suggest you to check out the North Shore of São Paulo state mate. There're lots of nice beaches there.
I definitely want to, on the way to Rio by bus I seen alot of cool lands and mountains

I m from SP but a wonderful place to visit is Florianopolis, in the state os Santa Catarina. If you go by bus ( 13 hrs ) try the sleeper bus. Its amazing. Have fun.
You should also visit the seaside of Rio. Arraial do Cabo, Buzios , etc...

You ought to go to Sampa Sky in historical center(Vale do Anhangabau) where there's a glass sky deck where you have a bird's eye view of the old downtown(Centro) is on the 46th floor..

The places I would recommend the most, Balneario Camboriu, Gramado, Curitiba, Blumenau, the places in the South for me are the most beautiful

Don’t go to Belo Horizonte. Nothing to see there. Go to Florianopolis, Fortaleza, Natal, Porto Seguro, Maceio, when in Rio, go to Parati, Buzios too.
Florianopolis is on my list of places to travel. Belo Horizonte is a little far so it may be later on in my trip
