Thanks so much For the number 2, folding techniques, if we fold for the 60length, they way your tot us, the remaining left over after removing the hips, should be trim out?
Thank you for all the information and teaching. You're a very good teacher. I'm a total beginner to drafting, taking measurements etc. I want to know everything you are teaching me but I found it very hard to concentrate with the music playing in the background. It was as though I was battling between the music and you. I'm in your classroom and just like being at school I need to focus totally on what you are telling me to succeed. I don't want to miss anything. I hope I haven't offended you but you are diminishing your gift and skills x
No dear, if the hip is 40" and you're using 1.5" allowance, the required fabric width is 40" +(6×1.5). Why? Because you have: 1. Front right 2. Front left 3. Back right 4. Back left 5. Zipper right 6. Zipper left Just like you divide your measurement by four to cut, u multiply your allowance by 4, because the allowance reflects on every part of you fold. Then you multiply your zipper allowance by two because there are two sides to it, left and right, I hope this makes sense, this is for basics though.
This is not how it works for me. My hips is 40" i can't cut exactly 40" width of fabric. Where will the sewing allowance be for the hips? I explained how i calculate mine in the video and i have never made a mistake that way. Maybe that's how you do yours but it doesn't work that way for me.
Wow thank you very much.
Sis, immediately followed..you are a great teacher..ty..
Thank you!
Please can you do a video on how to input the measurements
on the fabric
Me I even check my measurement more than twice. Lol!
