Hi, thank you so much for your teachings; it's really helpful. But I just have one problem when I sew my garment and that is the shoulders keep going towards the back even after taking the one inch sloop.can you advice me please, thank you and God bless.
Thank your for making this video. I'm trying to understand the shoulder slant, my shoulders are 12" I divided by 2 & get 6. So do I use 6" or do I use 8" to slant?
Thank u very much sis I'm one of those persons who was an still is until I meet u .The Favour of God will continue to be upon u n your house hold, I feel I'm really blessed to have u on this channel keep u to good works
You've decided to spoil us this time!! This is how my mom who is Cameroonian does it as well. And she never uses bought patterns, she drafts them herself. Thank you so so much!!!
I am a 73 year old granny I never thought at this age someone could teach me maths but you did ,I could not understand this radius thing ,but guess what, you taught me ,your teaching is not a job ,but a calling,,I give you 10stars thank you very much baby .
I would like to say of all the comments that were made people saying how much they have learnt there wasn't one like, I feel bad for my fellow viewers, please continue to teach it is truely a gift.
Bless your soul! I have been self teach for the past 6 years and have not been able to master measurements accurately. This was very helpful thank you so much 💜
I've been trying to teaching myself how to draft through various books and videos off and on over the past few years. I came across your video on UA-cam and was glad I decided too watch it. I found your videos very helpful for me because I could not figure how to increase the bust size the way I wanted since i'm a well endow woman. Thank you for your help and you have a subscriber for life❣💯
This is 2022 and I am just seeing this oh my God thank you so much I did not do well all in Maths so I would buy all the books that I can fine that would help me in my calculations but was never successful at it because I am dyslexic in maths and spelling so I hated school a lot because I just couldn't get it today I am not bad in spelling now but I am always seeking to take the easy way out from drafting my own pattern because I just can't do the maths and you made it so easy for me thank you so much from the bottom of the heart I do love your teachings God bless keep up the good work.
Thank u, thank u so thank u ! I am new to the sewing community, self teaching. I have really been struggling and now I know why 🙏 thanks to you. I didn't know the basic rules or formulas for successful sewing. You are a jewel , thank you for this tutorial it is valuable and easy to understand. I look forward to learning more from you. Great job my sister🤗
I wish I could give this a million thumbs up. You are such a good teacher. I learnt this some 20 + years ago while in high school. I never understood how to calculate radios and pai until now. 👏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I wish I could like this video more than once😊 But all in all, wherever you are in the world, be happy that u have contributed good to d world 🎉🎉🎉 Thanks !!!
Excellent job fam, lots of great information, and l love the way you have simplify them so well. They are very helpful. Thanks again for sharing your gift with us. May God continue to bless you richly.
My daughter really wants to sew with pure draping and intuition and not “complicate” it with math, but you make math less complicated and I think it will help her realize the value. Also, your penmanship is beautiful on the reference paper!
Thank you for your tutorial you just gave me the confidence to make my own chiffon dress that screams to me " pls take me on a vacation" and this is my second sewing project as a beginner . Thank you very much 🙏 i pray that God enriches you and your endeavours .
I am so glad I found your video. I'm in class for seamstress an today we had our first pattern calculations an we all was like what in the world is going on. Except one person . But you omg so easy an understanding Thank much🥰❤
Thank you so much for such a clear way of explaining these calculations. I am not maths person but it was clear enough for me to understand and get. Your students are luck to have such a great teacher and we are also luck😊
I always wondered whether you measure the arm depth line from the straight shoulder or dropped shoulder. This is a brilliant explanation! Thanks so much!❤
Thank you for sharing your skills with us. The most valuable part of the tutorial for me was the math lesson. I didn’t like math in school I found it extremely hard to understand, however the way you explained the fractions I understood. I really appreciate you caring enough to explain the formula. Blessings 🙏🏽👍🏾👍🏾
Great video. May you add a video where you show HOW to measure the actual body parts you are referring to? I need a visual lol of starting to end point of shoulder and hip for example. Thank You.
Hello dear, thank you for this. Just asking, is ther a formula for calculating vertical measurements if i have the horizontal measurements for example if a making a maxi free dress with standard sizing of a client i haven't met
No ma’am usually neck depth is dependent on you or your client preference. But the rule is… if u are going deep do not the width too wide. And vice versa
Oh man I am so happy I found you on line. I am learning to sew at home on my own . I understand your explanations very well. Well done . Do you teach sewing classes on line?.

I have a question. Is the neck width always 3” or does it change depending on the body's measurements?
@@squidwardsquarepants6600 yes it does. Divide your bust by 12 to get your accurate next width and depth
