I came across FAK on UA-cam in 2011... for the next week I played everything I could find by them, for hours and hours and hours. I was so blown away by them... I felt like I had discovered a new element or something. If I had run into them performing somewhere I might have passed out... LOL, probably not, but you know what I mean.
like there's something that she knows and could teach you well you're you're living in that southern state where the the bars are filled with people you can't hate i looove that she's singing that at the beginning. i adore them.
And at the end they are singing a little bit of "Acid Tongue" by Jenny Lewis. In addition, FAK has toured with various Conor acts several times before and I think they are about to do a few dates with him in Europe.
can't believe how ironic this is... these lines: "I once knew a pretty girl And she was in love with the world And she loved a young man Who loved her body but never saw her mind" describe my relationship with this guy perfectly... the best part - his last name is King hahahah
04mscentrum: Yes! I too, wonder: WHEN do you get to hear this kind of great FREE music? Are they all deaf? If so, I'd get it. Otherwise, just going to get a sandwich is more important, than this gorgeous music. Foolish people. Jeez.
Check out "Dance To Another Tune" on their new album. It features Johanna a little more than most other songs (she's solo on the initial verses). I think she's good, but I do prefer Klara. I just think she has a stronger voice with more character to it.
Not sure about the song in the begining, but that was Acid tongue at the end. Not that I Met up with a King wasn't great. Missed you in Montclair- next time.
Great sound. Hurry along Eric, you'll miss them.
I can't believe there's people who won't bother to stay and listen to them.
I'd be honored to be in their presence like that.

@@773SleepyHollow Hi There Sleepy Hollow
I couldn't have walked past without staying to hear the rest. A timeless banger of a tune. ❤
I love how Johanna's big-sister status manifests at the beginning of the video. Somehow adds even more authenticity to their work and personas.
Wow this was so good. Especially the girl with the darker brown hair. Her voice gave me chills. I loved how they sang Southern State by Bright Eyes!
Love this. This is classic First Aid Kit. Always remember them at this stage.

I feel their sincerity... That's rare.

Anyone else see them at SummerStage in 2015, when they opened up for Dawes? (Dawes was fine, but I was there for FAK.)

top top tune
I beg your pardon I'm not looking for a cure. I've seen enough of my friends in the depths of the God sick blues.
The pride of sweden

*hipster walks by* DEAR GOD *bows down and worships*
...well, I would've done that, anyway...
What's the song at the beginning?
anybody know the name of the song that they sang at the begginning
Bright Eyes - Southern State :)
Why the hell I saw this today?? Been looking for this song forever thanks a lot! :)
where's the pop?
@XxBeatlesforeverxX
So do I,and I'm male!
I want to be their second sister.
Pretty sure it's Pop-Folk.
It's a little too modern to consider it pure folk. Most of the similar artists have been put in that category. Just newer folk in a sense.
