When I heard this song at the end credits of Arcadian, I thought it sounded like First Aid Kit, but just to be sure I looked through the credits and couldn't find it listed. Strange that the movie doesn't credit them.
I’m a finally a Forest Ranger now after about 17 years of substance abuse, crime, and self abuse including suicide attempts and psych ward visits. I used to always listen to this song as being a forester was always my dream but I was too fucked up to make it happen. After 4 years sober and schooling I have now finally made it happen at 32 years old. This is bittersweet for me and still one of my favorite songs/covers ever.

Then I met them backstage and they signed autographs and they accepted to be photographed with every single fan ! Amazing ! And they're so talented !!
I discovered this 91 track compilation tonight. I've listened to 18 so far ... and they are ALL good. I think I should listen all the way through to 91. They are talented music writers and they can sing clearly, strongly and beautifully.
I've always been a First Aid Kit fan from afar since they've covered Fleet Foxes as teenagers but hearing this has deepened everything for me and opened up new avenues. Much Love

Wow! There are T. Swift vids with less views . I love these extremely talented ladies . I really appreciate that they perform in english. There is so much great music coming out of Scandinavia and Eastern Europe that is far better than mainstream American music. They do remind me somewhat of The Pierces. If you like FAK you might like them. If you've ever watched Pretty Little Liars you've heard them. I have 30 of their songs in my itunes library and 10 by First Aid Kit so far . I just discovered them recently. If you can perform a song by a legend right in front of them and make them cry that's phenomenal.

Heard this on Private Practice too, my very first time watching it. I could barely decipher the lyrics/rhythm so I had no idea it was a remake of Fever Ray's song, which I'd already liked. I just knew that from what I could hear, it set my eardrums a-tingling. These ladies did a fantastic job.
I'm a huge Fever Ray fan and found this band because of the cover. I think they did a great job and managed to carry the melody over brilliantly. Great stuff!

I listened to this song for the first time and I am literally shocked how much these lyrics do relate to me. Now I understand why they call themselves the first kit.
These girls sound like they're from Kentucky not from Sweden. They have the ability to reach into a person's soul with southern twang, which sounds like American folk music. And you haven't heard anything until you hear them sing "The Lions Roar". Truly gifted girls that stand with some of the greats like Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris and Patsy Cline
