Are you planning on getting a different lens for your camera to get better close-up shots? It would be amazing to get a better view of the smallest things in your jars.

I’m doing a bit of an experiment similar to this, but, with striped crickets and house crickets in 10 gallon tanks with medium. So far, they’re surviving, and very lively. They’re also cannibalistic, but, tend to leave each other alone with enough food. My theory right now, is they’ll grow up, mate, and deposit eggs into the medium.
As time progresses, there’ll be more overlap in generations. And, a point where adult and baby crickets are a constant in the tanks. Something that I hope will resemble cockroach colonies.

Why haven't you tried adding any marimo moss balls or other simple salt-tolerant algae to the community? A single snail wouldn't be a bad idea. Just grabbing water from the aquarium store's planted tanks will add a bunch of other small life forms to this ecosystem that might help preserve it over the long term. Brine shrimp themselves are generally pretty hearty, but it seems like you're missing some real opportunities here.
Of course, thinking like mine _could_ be the reason that so many brine shrimp ecosystems fail.
BUT! one thing your tank is lacking that will kill things off long-term is a calcium source. It's going to take long enough for those shells to break down on their own that successive generations of shrimp may gobble up most of the free calcium in the tank. I don't have a good suggestion for a source, alas, as using seashell or other easily available sources could lead to PH problems, but it's something you'll want to look into.

The brine shrimp aren't making the water flow upwards - that's just physics, hot air rises and cold air sinks; well it's the same for water. If the water is being heated (or having heat energy, such as that which comes from the sun or conduction of heat from the surroundings into the jar), then that would cause a section of water to rise and another to fall. We just don't see the section that's falling here
