12C is a masterpiece. They're not having any trouble selling them and because of this 812 owners aren't unloading their 812s. Markets are tight for everything except the Roma.
I’ll keep it black and white. I disagree with his take on the Dodici Cilindri. It takes bold steps into the future while hinting of the past.
I own Porsches, Lamborghinis and Ferraris. The Ferrari is a cut above the others. The 12 Cilindri is a gorgeous design that pulls from Ferraris front engine V12 past.

I think you're spot on about the design language of the new V12 they went full agressive/angular rather than classy/sexy with their lines, now, as far as success/failure....there's no way it's going to fail, there's too much bullshit turbocharged/hybrid/electric numb cars out with no soul out there, almost NO competition in the Super Grand Tourer line, especially because of that fucking massive engine that sounds really nice and can sound amazing with a proper system.

For the record you can be both. I have 4 lambos and 2 Ferraris with the 12 cylindrical on order. It is possible to love both brands without disparaging either.

It definitely doesn’t look like a replacement for the 812, looks like it should be its own standalone model.
Not a fan of the looks on this one. It does not pass the beauty test.
they keep trying to model after their old classics with the 296 and cylindri, and its just not working. Their SUV looks like the CX-30. They need to get rid of their head designer
Their head designer is as I heard a proprietary technician from Ferrari … instead of real designers like at Pininfarina.
At first especially the black boot lid looks strange …and as if they somehow wanted to cover up a bad design…
But the more I look at the new 12 Cylindri …the more it grows on me as a whole (including engine etc).
But the 296 is still a no go to me …and it ever will. Badly designed from the outside!

This head designer also designed the La Ferrari. So, there is more to it. I don't know what happened but his designs are hit or miss. I like the design of 296, sp3, sp2 and the sf90 but I don't like the design of purosangue and 12 cilindri as much. They are fine but has a lot of similarities with other cars

I had a similar feeling about the roma. Then I got one and loved it. I feel like these cars don't look good until you see them in person. I actually have a huracan tecnica that looked great in pictures and great in person but that's just not how Ferrari has been with their recent models. It's almost like you have to see them in person to appreciate them

the design between the flying buttresses of the 812 gts is unfinished and looks really awkward when its next to a 812sf.
The 12c spider balances it out with the two tone ducttail but the 296 gts perfected it.

PJ more often than not I agree with your reviews but I disagree with your opinion on the 12C. I think Ferrari completely hit the mark and designed a stunning piece. What I appreciate the most about this car is that it can be specified with or without carbon fiber and still looks amazing. Also this is one of the few Ferraris where the coupe outshines the spider. I hope you are able to order one and change your mind once you get it.

The 12cyl. has steer by wire, brake by wire & rear wheel steering & a "remote" key, none of which I like ... I think I will stay with my F12 which is a less complex car ... I like the looks of the 12 cyl. better -they finally lost the "cutaway" on the sides ...

PJ u need a ferrari sp, these mass produced v12s are just so meh from driving or aesthetics point of view. Great engines, but otherwise lambo v12s all day. The F12 at least looks better but even then it just doesnt excite (more like a old man's car with the likes of aston).
I like the tail lights on the new 12C, but that's it. 812 tail lights & back end don't look good to me, the rest is 'ok'. I think 12C and 812 are both _ugly_ compared to F12. Plus it's easy to delete scuderia shields on an F12, so it's my ultimate Ferrari V12! LOL

You and I share the same sentiments about the Design of these particular Vehicles.
812 Headlights are ugly, the entire front end is too fussy: the F12 is a much better Design.
The 12 Cilindri is a very beautiful design. However, the main reason that Ferrari isn’t letting Customers delete the Black Parts is because the 12 Cilindri would look like a Roma. Which isn’t a bad thing in my opinion. But Ferrari is trying to hide the obvious.

The Dodici Cilindri ugly as hell, but I think Ferrari was trying to recapture the design of the 1973 365 GTB/4...of course THAT car was ugly as well, so...design-wise? The F12 was PERFECT!
