That "bass" knob is actually your mids, and that "presence" knob is actually your bass.

I didn't even comment this. I don't even play bass, I'm a drummer and a guitarist. From now on I need to make sure my friends log out of my account when they use my computer xD

i honestly find it pretty simple. halfway decent overdrive pedal, any bass with hot pickups, tone all the way up. keep bass at 12 o clock, mids 10 o clock, and treble around 2-3 o clock so you can get the clackiness.

You should use instrumental music, it would be less distracting. Maybe that's just my short attention span though.

Good ideas. I have the 500 (four string version). The three knobs on the side are actually an active 3band EQ built into the bass.

Please turn your background music down when talking, it stopped me from watching the video :(

Volume, blend, eq from right to left if looking at the bass for most active basses with 3 band is treble mid bass. And on this bass should be 12-16(can't remember what eq is in it) dB of boost and cut with center detent for 0

I have the same bass, and it is a very versatile instrument in terms of tonal opportunity. The only thing it lacks - is body weight, which i think adds to depth of the sound... meaning no matter how you eq it, it will not sound as ballsy, as say, Gibson TB.
    Very nice video though.

You may have the newer SR505. There are subtle differences between this version in the video and the new ones. I have the same 505 in the video and it has some good weight. The new 505s are much lighter

Can you please make a video of the Sansamp PSA1!? I got one myself but after a year im still tweaking the tone... Its just never the sound that I have in my mind. I find it really hard to balance the lows and the high. Its always to piercing and almost thin or to bass heavy and not cutting enough. I would really appreciate it. Cheers!

Hey how much does all the pedals cost?
And does the tone matter on what kind of bass you use cuz i use a Fender Jazz Bass but I've been told that Ibanez bass are best for Metal (Metallica,Megadeth )
