I'd recommend giving Vaporeon HP/DEF/RES boosters, Rocky helmet and the Grizzly Wound skill instead. Making every enemy Pokemon lose about 44% HP for attacking a wall seems like a funny strat. Maybe even throw in Amnesia/Calm mind to boost defenses even further.

Does it matter If you evolve pokemon later or earlier Statwise? Like in firemblem games get to lvl 20 first then promote for max stat efficiency?
@@noscopeniaimjustskill The reason that makes sense in FE is because class changing resets your level, so no. Pokémon retain their level upon evolving, but their maximum stats are randomized (if you're playing a randomizer game like I am). So a squirtle could have, say, 20 maximum strength, but evolve into a wartortle with 15 maximum strength (for example). It's all the luck of the draw!

From what I understand the mons summoned by a elite mon is supposed to be stronger versions. Ofcourse with the randomiser it's not always the case. But that is why the Vaporeon had different stats and growths.
@@jespersrensen1189 You're likely right! And the randomizer tends to hurt me more than help, so I got lucky, ha ha 🤣
