​@FriendlyHermit i made Anna a trickster in 3 houses and maxed out her luck. She was a 1 man army with a Levin sword. Doing every attack and landing critical doubles every time she entered combat.

@@FriendlyHermit I think it might have the same dodge rate as rogue class, as you see trickster replaces rogue in awakening and their max speed are as high as assassin but I can’t remember which one is higher though and yes they can be dodge tank as well, and my Yuri in 3 houses is basically untouchable as trickster class so I would say yes for same dodge rate as rogue from Sacred Stones

@@rydrake9509 Nice. Not gunna lie, I love me a good assassin class, but I normally stick to casters and archers. Pretty sure my fave in Sacred Stones was Innes, but I remember him just slapping. Never had to worry about getting hit, and one-shot nearly everything with perfect accuracy.

100%. I'll be using up all of my vitamins and rare candies and whatnot as I approach the endgame content. Don't wanna waste anything on sub-par monsters. But, yeah. That's a great strategy for Vaporeon. If only I could remove her passive "Dash" ability, or whatever it's called. There are better ones for monsters who you want out there away from the team.

@@COZYTW I've done this once or twice, but rerolling isn't possible, I don't think. Instead, I just reload the previous save to NOT evolve, ha ha. Pretty sure stats and growths are predetermined when the game is started. Don't quote me, though!

Sure it looks kind of like rambling, but as long as you stop at natural points for each part of the extension, it's not really rambling!) Would mentioning you find out why on most paths count as a spoiler if I don't share the details, or no? Cause I did BL first, and the bit that reveals the why happens in a Chapter that doesn't really change regardless of what route you are on.

I know, right? Even when I'm allowed to be wild and crazy... it just doesn't feel like the proper way to play. Like, in Morrowind, after about 3 or 4 playthroughs with different characters and classes, I was FINALLY compelled out of boredom to just try and merc every NPC for lols. But it still felt dirty, ha ha

@@noscopeniaimjustskill The reason that makes sense in FE is because class changing resets your level, so no. Pokémon retain their level upon evolving, but their maximum stats are randomized (if you're playing a randomizer game like I am). So a squirtle could have, say, 20 maximum strength, but evolve into a wartortle with 15 maximum strength (for example). It's all the luck of the draw!

@@FriendlyHermit I haven't bought a Fire Emblem game since Fates (beyond awful) and a Pokemon game since Black & White (which was excellent but it was all downhill from there). These days I just play fangames because there's actual quality and fun to be had.

@@danielpayne1597 You're not entirely wrong, bud. I'm roughly in the same boat. But I did enjoy FE Engage, but not for the normal reasons one would enjoy an FE game. I liked the end game and PVP stuff, but otherwise, the story was barely there. It felt too bland, cliche and episodic. But, if you put that fact aside, the character customization is (pardon the pun) engaging. And, again, the PVP for those who invested time in building a perfect army... *chef's kiss. And... Pokemon? Oy, vey. Lie after lie in terms of their advertising. I play 'em, but I don't always enjoy what I'm playing, ha ha.

@@FriendlyHermit I remember being hyped for PvP in Fates... then realized quickly it would just be Witch warp spamming. If they finally achieved something in Engage, maybe a future title will be worth trying. Game Freak needs to return to the days of HGSS when it put effort into the games. Until then, there are fan games and PalWorld, the Legends Arceus fans deserve.
