- This is a car you probably haven't seen around the channel much but Rich's 1965 Buick Skylark "Gran Sport" clone is one beautiful fun machine, unfortunately it's had some braking issues from someone previously doing some... questionable repairs. So Rich is tearing into the rear drum brakes to do a little fixin.
Rich, I just love the cars of the 50's and 60's! I own 7 classic's myself.
Beautiful car Rich. Very nice sounding as well.
The rear profile is the best and there there is no better sound than a big block nailhead with a good cam. I would bet is is a dream to drive!
It's not a nailhead.
Very nice Buick ..looking forward to part 2 ..good content and thanks....🔧🔧👍
U love your car, I have to a 1966 special that I am trying to restomod, which is costing a small fortune.
The 66 hodds and trunks are exclusive, as well as the 1967, it to was exclusive to 67., Not sure about the 65, but good luck with finding a replacement, and pray no one destroys your car in a wreck.
I love the Buick, it is such a nice car!
I'm a pontiac guy, but that is a really nice buick rich!! Definitely a keeper. Sounds nice too!!
Beautiful car Rich 👍
I agree, they definitely need a dual master and front disc at the minimum.
Beautiful car Rich!
nice ride!
Buick stylists were great about maintaining family resemblance across the various models. Pole Barn Garage is swapping a Pontiac 455 into a Skylark hooptie for the duct tape drages. He may have a salvageable hood to trade.
That is likely a hot spot in the drum.
Looks great Rich. As a fellow Buick guy, i bet the buick stage 2 reproduction hood scoop would look great on the hood you have. TA performance has them.
I have the 65gs convertible 401 love that
She is a beautiful...
Cool 😎 !
Even mechanics cars need maintenance!
