    There's a shortcut:
    (x + 1)⁶ = 2⁶
    x = 2*r6 - 1 , where r6 is the six 6th roots of 1
    r6 = ±1, ±1/2 ± i*√3/2
    2*r6 = ±2, ±1 ± i*√3
    x = 2*r6 - 1 = 1, -3, ±i*√3, -2 ± i*√3

    (x+1)^3 = - 8 , (x+1)^3 = 8
    Case 1
    x^3+3x^2+3x+9 = 0
    (x+3)(x^2+3) = 0
    x = - 3 , i√3 , -i √3
    Case 2
    (x+1)^3 - 2^3 = 0
    (x - 1)(x^2+2x+1+4+2x+2) = 0
    (x - 1) (x^2+4 x+7) = 0
    x = 1 , - 2+i√3 , - 2 - i√3

    (k³ - 2³)·(k³ + 2³) = 0

    (k - 2)·(k² + 2k + 4)·(k + 2)·(k² - 2k + 4)
