Great twist on this! Been seeing the triangle ones all over the place! I like this one better! And bummer- I was actually looking forward to being serenaded!
There are some really good kerf bending videos online and there are kerf bending calculators also to help with the math. Another great video! It turned out beautifully, nice contrast in colors.
It's nice to see you build something other than a planter box. Don't get me wrong, they are cool and I enjoyed them, but it's nice to get variety also. This build is perfect right now since I'm looking for ideas for the craft shows.
Right?! Not to throw shade, but it's a serious concern that videos like this, where its more of a fun woodworking project where I get to teach something get less views than the other (cheaper) made quick projects. It is picket planter season, however Id rather make content that improves my and your skills, rather than cutting a 2x4 and staining it. :P happy to see you enjoy learning! It made my day :)
@@WhosTheVoss I get it. People want instant gratification. The short quick builds provide that. Maybe I'm a little different than a lot of people. I like variety. After I watched your video I started searching offroad jeep content then, since we own two lasers, I went looking to learn something there. I'm all over the place really.
Hey man! May I make a suggestion? For $30, you can get a thin-rip jig that makes it SO MUCH safer to get consistent, thin rips. DCT makes the one I have, totally worth it :)
the clickbaity video is about table saws not the gripper, the image was to show the blade cutting above the board being cut, in a place where a hand might be holding it. LincolnStreet is good about providing clear concise info, without being too clickbaity
Would laying the clamps flat against the panel and then tilting them just enough to clamp not work better? The bars themselves should lend a decent degree of straightness.
You caught me! Lol, we actually installed a vinyl fence and the sun beaming off the panel freaks out my cameras, so instead of boarding up the window or adding a curtain I just printed that picture on a poster. And it improved my view! :)
@@WhosTheVoss what might be funny is to replace that with a green screen for jokes in the background. However, it is understandable from a working standpoint to have something like the picture.

You deserve a lot more than 37K subscribers. You are great at explaining do's and dont's, easy to follow plans and comical.
Thanks buddy :) my goal is 100,000 by 2025 glad you like the content!
@@WhosTheVoss You should do a video on a "modern" planter as modern looks are back in style these days..well here they are.

I just googled that. SO COOL! Thanks buddy :) i heard the cracking and knew I should have soaked the board but went for it anyways
Hey buddy, good content thank you for sharing with us
Thanks buddy :)
Oh to have a Menard’s near by…. Great video…as usual
"nearby" is 53 miles from my house :P same with Lowes. No Home Depot though. Lol
Thanks Polly! :)

It would be cute if you did a video for that tiny planter you had on the dashboard
I agree !!
I knowwwwwwww, i have a few cute ones coming up ;)
Try putting clear tape on your cauls next time save you the headache and extra work when it rips the wood
I like it!!
Harbor freight has parallel clamps pretty cheap and put tape on the boards you knocked off with the hammer. Makes glue ups like that so much easier
Their parallel clamps are highly rated by 731 woodworking, so i bought one to play with and they are nice. I like the tape idea too!

You can make a jig like that as well, thanks buddy :)
Very nice. I wanted to one with a wireless charger in the bottom.
I pondered putting a wireless charger in one, but I didn't want to have the cord coming through the side :/
Glue ups are so stressful! I prep and think I have everything I’ll need and still be missing something
#preach
Placing parchment paper under the cross boards (Cauls) it will be a cleaner removal.
Thanks! And I learned what a caul was ;)
You can use packing tape on your cauls. Wood glue will not stick to it and you won’t have to hit them off with a hammer.
Looks like you guys taught me something in this video ;) thanks buddy

I ended up watching it. I like LincolnStreet; his videos are very informative and the guy really knows his stuff.
The mustache trick with the blue tape to keep your tape in place is so obvious I am ashamed to say I never thought of that before.......
Now you know buddy! :)
Would laying the clamps flat against the panel and then tilting them just enough to clamp not work better? The bars themselves should lend a decent degree of straightness.
It would take a little bit of the bend out clamp ends but they still flex inward, just gotta do a little planning :)
Great video Aaron! If you were to sell these, what kind of price would you think?
They do take a good deal of time, i would say $50-60 each. Mainly because i bought the lumber from Menards and it wasnt cheap
I came back to let you know I made these and all was well but to make the corners stronger I place splines. Thank you.
Awesome! :)
Is the window in the background just a picture?

Do these work for kindles ? 😂🙄🤪
😂😂 im sure youre strong enough to bend one of those in half buddy! Lol you could also router or rip a thin recessed spot for them to rest in
How big is your shop?
24x20, next week I have a shop tour video dropping :)
