Well the sprinting, jumping out in the open, using jumpads out in the open, placing a shield behind them when unlocking doors.
If you see a player doing this, your fate is already decided. RUN.
Maybe you could try to trail for a third party... but these situations are terrifying for sure LOL

I'm glad you like it! About a week ago for nearly an entire year I streamed Deceive every weekday on Twitch but recently I've branched out to playing DBD while Deceive cooks whatever new update they've got in store. On the UA-cam side of things I've been doing weekly/bi-weekly uploads of the variety games I happen to play so sadly that isn't in the plans at the moment!

Note about guards. They typically won't shoot at you unless you either have a heat level. Or you're in a spot where the guards can't naturally reach you with a punch.
I was considering mentioning this but I’ve been shot at by guards when I have no heat + they could still reach me via running (which seems unintended given the overhaul patch notes) so I just didn’t bring it up.
I'm willing to bet its because you jump around and bounce mat alot so you probably just confuse the ai lmao.

An agent guide would be awesome. I'm still learning and Cav seems so cool, but I can't get a good understanding of her investigate ability (I keep dying trying to find all 3 clues. Will it still ping if I just find 1?) Yu-Mi is another one I'm interested in but that seems more suited to me gaining more experience beforehand 😅 Anyways this video was amazing, Thanks 😊
With Cav's first expertise, the only difference between 1, 2, and 3 clues/items scanned is how long the duration of your trace on them will be! So if you suspect they are nearby and dangerous, only scanning one clue is completely fine if not preferred to avoid suspicion!

4:23 be *very* careful about following the exact guided path though. If another player happens to be nearby and also happens to be following this path, it’s super easy to catch you out. I literally caught someone in my second ever game by watching them following the exact path I saw on my hud, taking every correct turn, and then stopping at a blue door. Neither actions are confirmation of player behavior on their own, but it would take one hell of a coincidence for an NPC to do those two exact behaviors in a row. Needless to say, I won that gunfight.
