YESSSS!!!!!!!! I love how you hold yourself back from trying to sneak the halter over her ears! A great display of patience! And I like this format ☺️such amazing progress, she clearly has come a long way 🤩🥳
Love your channel raw and real!!!
This is so great! She went from a mare scared to be touched to a mare who can be haltered! This is going so fast! 😅 After a couple months you’ll be in the saddle!
I can’t help but think that the time you spent with Zurreal has taught you so much about dealing with a wild horse. You are so much calmer in your approach, realising that you will make mistakes and not to focus on them. Good job!
Great ur getting such good progress, she seems eager most of the time and she definitely looks super comfortable with you. Can’t wait to see what comes next!🙃
Zara is always so cute! She’s also soooo sweet I can already tell that she is is getting soooo much better already!
She seems like such a sweet horse, and I love how your so patient, she really trusts you! It's hard to get a horse to trust you, especially in my situation with my horse as he was abused previously and didnt trust anyone :( however, now he is the sweetest most trusting horse and I trust him so much when I jump ❤ Im so I'm so glad she immediately trusts you, and I'm so happy!
Wow
I love this editing style. It us easier to track progress! If you have time, please keep doing it!
She is indeed very smart and willing to learn. I am pretty sure she could count to five all on her own... She is also the most food motivated horse I have seen.
You should see Kazi 😂
Oh man seriously!! Zara is actually quite low on the motivation spectrum for motivation w good. My mustang is so food motivated I had to contact a behaviorist to try and help with how overstimulated she gets with food and +R
Yesssssssss
This was fantastic! Good job! And I want to THANK you because watching your last session where Zara learned to touch your hand gave me an idea. I tried doing it with my 8 yr old gelding who I have been doing R+ with for over 6 years but still is so mouthy and bite-y and defensive when my hands are near his face and neck. And after a few sessions he is now holding his head and neck against my hand and NOT biting!! I am thrilled! Thank you for the inspiration!
That is awesome!!!!
i love that you include even the parts that go wrong, showing that not everything goes perfectly. zara is making such great progress!!!
I lost my cat and your videos are the only thing that are keeping me happy
I'm so sorry😢😭. Hope you feel better soon❤️.
You are so patient and kind to your horses they are just as blessed as you are to have them in your life.🥰
I really like the format of putting all the same training together, it's makes it much easier to understand the progression and how far she's really come! you're doing such a fantastic job with her 💕💕
Thanks Maria!! And thanks for the feedback! It seems like most of y’all like it this way! Honestly I do too!!
The progress you are making with her is amazing! It hasn't been that long since you were working just to get to touch her nose briefly. You are both amazing.
I'm not half an hour late for once! She's so adorable
I’m so impressed with your thoughts and ability to try a newer method that is still very kind to the horse and how soft and patient you are. It’s so worth it even in the beginning because you know that it’s done positively and I love that you’re taking the time to learn and Accept the fact that you are both going to be learning along the way. You can see when things click for her and when she’s thinking. It’s so amazing to see the language and the conversation happen and for her to click and change her expression when she knows that she’s doing something right for something she wants.
Zara is so cute and your training is really good
Zara is such a good horse
Hi she is getting on so well you bring a smile to my face and that’s hard since I got covid
She’s gaining so much progress I’m so proud of you and Zara I’m excited to see you and her bond😊
I love how gypsy isn't like most trainers(horse trainer) by doing natural horsemanship. And she doesn't abused them for walking away
Yay! 8 minutes ago! I'm kinda early lol! Can't wait to watch!!
Timestamps are GREAT! but, if you want to go one step extra, make them like this:
00:45 - 03:22 working with rope
03:23 - 07:54 working with halter
etc
:D
Love this progress. Zara is smarter than many humans, I'll tell you that! :D
Aww, she is getting so confident around you!! 😍😭❤️🐴
This is fun to watch. She is so smart. I Love her bright eyes. And the cone part was so cute!.

She’s doing so great! Her mane and markings are so pretty!
you are an amazing horse trainer! Zara is having great progress, I am so happy for you and her. I wish the best luck to you and zara. she is a very brave horse, she reminds me of my four year old gelding, he has a personality a little bit like Zara.
I am in a class called Animal Training in college and we are doing pretty much the same thing. It truly is really cool how they pick things up easily or struggle on certain steps.
Zara is making So much progress
Really enjoying this!
It is wonderful that you are working with R+ 😃💕
Excellent progress. Zara's a smart cookie. 💖
What an interesting method. And it works! Yay!

Love seeing your videos of working with her! She has thr cutest personality! Mustangs require a special kind of patience! But the result is so worth it!!!
Zara is doing amazing and you’re a great trainer!!!! Keep it up!!🤩🤩
She is lovely and so smart! ❤
Really loving these +R videos!
Love seeing progress and also seeing the parts where she spooks a bit cos U make it look So Easy!
The hard part of it is consistency but the method is very simple! I feel like any one could do it!

Zara is a very pretty girl!!
You are the perfect blend of patient and persistent. Awesome job, girl!
Wow! She’s so smart! I can’t wait to see how quick she picks up everything else!!
The progress is crazy! I need this book!
Great job!!! I'm so happy for you!!!! Thanks for always making my day!!!! 🙂 😍
I am always excited when you post this series it makes my day❤️
This is awesome!! when you first started i was kind of against using treats and this training method but now that i see how it transfers into hatlering, lowering head, ect. i am starting to like it more and more. One day I hope to try it on a mustang myself!! I cant believe how smart she is. I cant wait to see her improve!
Honestly me too. I was so against +R a few years ago! After reading a few science based books about learning theory and calming signals in horses I slowly started to move over toward this direction. If nothing else this is way more fun for me 😂
@@GypsyEquestrian I honestly dont know why it gets such a bad rep. I talked to a couple of trainers and they all say that +R doesn't work when it does! I hope to see more people using it soon. So glad that your using it!
@@Bri_and_Barrels It generally comes with people using treating methods without establishing proper boundaries or getting lax with them later on causing issues too. Sometimes when you get a new horse to work with the treating reward system isn't always for the best, especially with quite a shut down horse, it can end up masking other issues that may blow up later on. Treating can definitely help with confidence quickly and is a fab method to use for a horse with no trust in people... but looking for calm 'relaxed' signals is still a priority down the road later when working with a more confident/trusting animal. Some people's horses get weirdly overstimulated/excited because they weren't rewarding a horse with a calm mindset but one in a high state of anxiety. It's good but like everything you need to set parameters/goals and boundaries you must look for at the start. Lots of people don't or they don't do the right thing and sit down and get educated/read what went into certain training methods, sadly giving up when they hit a bump in the road. ;)
Your progress is AMAZING!
your doing great I can't wait to see her progress
this is so awsome i love her
Sooo happy for you!!
Congrats!! You guys are awesome!!
Oh my goodness! I'm so impressed by how you're progressing with her using this method! She really seems to connect with you well, too. Great job! Also her dark coat is just so beautiful!
