Very nice machine archie I admire your fowerd thinking hope you shift the could make shore you shift that man flu. Has aztec stopped playing video's have a good weekend buddy thanks Andy.
Buddy little trick take chainsaw blocks end off , until your processor can take it . Save on time , because time is money $$$ . 😊 nice look DEMO processor for you . Hey 19” like our limb on trees hardwood trees . 😊
If the cleaner was flatter the logs can stop and build up, I could have dropped the shoot but filling ibcs it’s a bit tight. I see where you are coming from though
You've got such a great setup. Love that x-aim feature - always wondered why that's not standard on all processors - like owing an excavator without a thumb. For just a couple of guys, you push out a lot of wood. Once that yard is all concreted, Bob's yer uncle, you'll be firing on all cylinders. Don't know how you swing all that new equipment? Is business that good for firewood? Do your parents help you with finances? Or is this all by-the-bootstraps? Regardless, it's clear you're going to be a success in life - you've got business smarts.
I dont know if its possible , but you could perhaps , excavate a spot for the new processor so that it sits on the other side of the log deck (where it normall sits )so you just swop the hydraulics over or even just run the log deck in reverse off the big machine via remote
Great set up Archie - love the Palax. I looked at the 1000 before buying Tajfun mainly due to back up being better where I live but will go to circular saw when I trade in as daily maintenance is a pain with bar and chain. Great job 👍
@@jakebredthauer5100 in my experience the deck chains last longer with lubrication and the grit on logs will not penetrate the link. Once the chains have been running for an hour you cannot see any residue of grit or oil etc - however you have lubricated the link enough to extend the life of the chains which are not cheap.
Nice. Have you ever had the opportunity to have a look at 1 of the Reikalevy Sami Autochoppers? They only come with chainsaw rather than circular saw but they look like an incredible bit of kit.
We don't know much about European processors. What country is Palax from? What does model C mean? What does 750 mean? What diameter logs? What are some of the blade characteristics? Was this a purchase or loan? Why did you purchase another processor? Will you operate both processors simultaneously? How much do they cost? Is the firewood market relatively strong where you are compared to 2015 to 2019? You could tell us in the next video. It looks like you are developing your business. Are you wanting to increase production? How long have you been doing this? Why are European processors better? Have you been able to get enough timber?
@@oakfarmfirewood yes Good answer. I am not a regular viewer. When you are doing these, have in your mind who you are doing them for, a particular person or a defined group. That will give you a target to shoot at. If you have a large following, few have processors. Think about it from our perspective --- why are we watching. You are welcome to do it however you like. I am in the USA and I watch many firewood channels. What I like about your channel is that it is in another country and in English. Your equipment is better than ours. I call them side-puncher splitters. Do you have a generic name for them? Personally, I am aware of the 2.2 second cycle time that varies according to the load. Your model numbers are more sensible than ours.
You should deffo get some better music, camt use tje same tune the whole time, No copy roght sounds are free amd do have soke lretty good tunes for timlapses etc
Nice machine 👍🇧🇻
now thats some set up... best of look with the new machine,,saw blade machine is wicked quick
I've never seen a Palax before. Looks interesting. Good video 👍
More to come 👍🏼
Great channel and videos! Been following for a while and really enjoy watching the evolution of your setup and business. Keep it up! 🇧🇻🇧🇻
Awesome, thank you!

Sunday mornings they tend to release 👍🏼 thanks
Good choice 👌
Thanks ✌️
Thanks for the vid Archie. Will try the fuelwood cleaner mode on ours. Looking forward to the running vid.
Nice one Archie! Good business move, continuous improvement and investing back in your business.
Spot on!

Cleaner tray was probably designed that way as if the conveyor was higher/steeper the bits might not have missed the tray

best of luck with the new equipment
Thanks

Since I’ve started I’ve put everything back in. And yes most bits of machinery on finance. Truck will be the first to be paid off next year
Looks like a nice unit. Your fuel wood is so nice. All automation. Curious to see how the new machine flys thru wood.
Coming soon!
Kin ell!!! Thats fast!!!🍺💪💪👍

The plan is to have the Palax in its own place with a second timber deck

PS - run a bit of oil on your deck chains.

Oil collects dirt.
Why would you want to put oil on the deck chains?

Hi Archie New Processor looks good Do like the rotator on your grab I have a JB equipment grab with out the rotator Thanks again
Yes I love it, great grab and rotator

I’ve not come across one of them before
Wow that cuts fast
Myself and most people i know, bolt on a block of wood to the log stop to shorten the minimum length (might be a easier way to do it imo).
You can’t the stop moves back when cutting. Will show in a video

Some info of the Palax C750, Palax made in finland C750 = Circularsaw 750mm blade max. diameter of wood 30cm.
Most of the answers to why I got it are in my videos. But will try cover some points in an upcoming video

That Palix is gunna make alot of wood fast!!..
It sure is!
Just cable tie/screw on a block of wood to the stop on the palax to reduce the cut length by 5cm, don't go cutting into a new machine!
You can’t the stop moves back when cutting. I’ll show in a video
@@oakfarmfirewood On my tajfun 400 the stop moves back as soon as you start cutting and the block works perfect. But your machines maybe different!
👍🏴
Your hole set up gives me the fizz (wranglester saying)
I used this saying in an upcoming video 😂
I'm literally in the mess 24/7 😅😢
That's mad that your about to say a wranglerster term in a future video
😅😅😅
I'm breaking my self laughing 😅😅😂😂
I went to site to look at some timber and it was giving me the fizz haha
@oakfarmfirewood everytime I see archies machines, I get the fizz
isn't it easier to screw in a 2x4" block to get the right length of wood you need instead of cutting in the metal
Was thinking almost exactly the same, a wooden shim would fix this soooo easily
@@TheTorkermanI have the same machine and the stopper moves back so ya can’t put a block on it or it won’t pull back out the way
As paddy said. It moves back out the way to stop the log getting caught when dropping. Will show in a video
look,,,, luck😃
I Bet you don’t miss processing on a manual processor
It’s actually quite fun. It’s as fast as you make it
what happened to the stihl pro com headset?

so dual processors now?
