this scene was so sad to me, bertolto and reiner were two of my favorite characters and seeing how close they were to eren just for him to be betrayed really hurt me.
When I first watched the scene I had massive chills.. I was connecting Reiner to armored Titan but seeing Bertoldt as colossal really struck me in awe. Amazing how I still got chills through this!!

Thanks man. It was pretty hard to pull off, but basically I had a friend of mine create a model that was basically a red noodle. I then rendered 3 separate clips of Erens transformation: The Skelton with the noodles, the fleshy coloring on the scout, and then the titan scout (Which I had to use a porn model for lmao). I then threw them into Vegas and had them fade into each other!

Yeah he can control the explosion. And any titan shifter can decide how much they want to transform. Like how eren only transformed into his head body and the arm to protect mikasa and armin
When the explosion was first introduced, it seemed like he could only do it if his titan fell far enough to hit the ground with alotta force, but then it seemed like they made it so he could explode whenever
It's mostly about intent, atleast it was for eren when he first used his titan form, with bertholt its different cuz he can control it way more than eren so he only intended to manifest half of the titans body
