Seeing all these transformations years later, I still have to admit that I think Reiner's and Bertholdt's reveal is still the best transformation in the series. That scene was so iconic.. the soundtrack, the delivery, the realization.. it's incredible how they nonchalantly tell you who they are and you're still there just like wait what? wtf did Reiner just say..? The speech Reiner gave.. it just felt so authentic. He had definitely reached his limit. Mikasa slicing up characters you've grown so very fond of - to that intense Opera OST will forever be ingrained in my memories. I rewatched that scene over 20x the first time i saw it. Personally, that is probably a top 5 for me throughout all of anime.

Nah. He also had to avoid killing Eren or Ymir, since their goal was recovering the missing Attack Titan/stealing the Founder. When they found out that Ymir was the one who stole Porco's Jaw Titan, they had all the more reason to take them both and beeline for Marley, especially with Zeke and Pieck there to help them out.
I’ll never forget my absolute flabbergastedness when Eren is eaten back in season 1. I don’t read the manga, and the subject matter is different/dark enough that I thought they pulled a Guren Laggan on us. Such an incredible twist toward what would become a crazy plot.

To say it in an easier way, if a titan shifter drinks spinal fluid of another titan shifter, they will get its ability. That's how titans as the female, the armored, the attack or the beast have hardening even when that's not an ability of their titans. The hints were there in season 1 with the female, the answer was in this moment with Eren, then we saw Reiner and Zeke also had it and we kept seeing it later with for example Falco drinking Zeke's spinal fluid so getting bird characteristics in his jaw titan when animal characteristics are from the beast titan. This is something Falco and Gabi talked about with Annie, where she explained in detail her own case about this so they could get it and understand Falco's case.

No, this has never been a thing and shifters in general haven't needed it. The closest thing is the warhammer titan, who transforms pretty slow for the energy its large part of hardening needs, Eren took advantage of that and Lara couldn't do anything about it.
Reinar and Berth Transformation out of Blue is easily the best Scene in anime History in my books , and I have watched over a 100 anime shows . The Surprise , The Music , The Hype , Complete wtf moment .

Ok so one thing I did notice as I’m watching this and it’s not a reach at all..during Reiner and Bert’s wall transformation at 3:08-3:10(watch in solo motion) the little negative effect that goes across their face(NOT THE LIGHTNING EFFECTS) shows their titan..I don’t mean to make this something extra it’s just something I never noticed before until now
It doesnt show the titans completely and no one would know at the time because it was the first time showing who the armored and colossal titans were but again watch in solo mo and you’ll see it
