I've never seen this channel before. It came up in my feed but AOT is one of my favorite shows of all-time. The real reason for my comment is your shout out to Practical Engineering, I've been subscribed to his channel for years and is probably the best engineering channel on UA-cam.
Late comment, but they made 2 AOT movies, where they doubled the height of the colossal Titan. Basically making it the same height as the Rod Reiss Titan from the anime. Maybe even certain versions of Godzilla
Because of Wren's higher pitch voice and chipper attitude, I thought he's only like 5'5" or something. Holy shit this dudes half a head taller than me.
I’ve always had a problem with the scaling of attack on Titan. It would have been better if they made the colossal titan an absolute colossus. 250 meters while the wall is 200 or something. Because you’re right, while some of the titans are scaled correctly, once you get over 17 meters with zeke the scaling just drops off.
It's actually pretty accurate most of the show. Also like he said, it's only small to us because the things we build is so huge. During the era of attack on titan, there were no skyscrapers or massive boats. Buildings were barely a few stories tall. In fact i think this scaling makes WAY more sense, especially with the physics in mind.
Exactly, it's all about the anime world's point of view as there's nothing as giant as the titans, same thing goes for Kong and Godzilla as we don't have a larger environment as they are, they seem as giant as they are in the show.

I was also a bit surprised and one reason might be Wren's voice. It's relatively high in pitch, which is unusual for taller men who statistically tend to have lower voices, since their vocal chords are likely to be larger than average just as most of the other parts of their body, like feet or hands.

The anime lost some of the subdued nature of the manga such as the Titans revealing their identity to Eren being just small talk in the background away from everyone else but the horror very uncanny valley really came across in the anime.
The Santa Claus old man that originally ate Eren was damn more frightening animated than the manga which seemed to be a cut and paste of a Macy's ad.
Best anime ever ? 0 class

I've never seen this channel before. It came up in my feed but AOT is one of my favorite shows of all-time. The real reason for my comment is your shout out to Practical Engineering, I've been subscribed to his channel for years and is probably the best engineering channel on UA-cam.
I seriously got chills at 2:05! Not even the Japanese live-action was able to pull it off like this! Such talent and dedication. Well done you guys!
It was 3d animation edit in real life
Huh-?
The live action is better the reason the movie suck because of the story

Best shot of the whole video has to be Jake’s Homer Simpson shot. Dude put a huge amount of effort and determination into that.
My favorite part of the video
Exactly. Everyone praise Jake
7:55 what a grazy VFX shot. Thats true talent right there
Late comment, but they made 2 AOT movies, where they doubled the height of the colossal Titan. Basically making it the same height as the Rod Reiss Titan from the anime. Maybe even certain versions of Godzilla
Because of Wren's higher pitch voice and chipper attitude, I thought he's only like 5'5" or something. Holy shit this dudes half a head taller than me.
FOR REALLLLLL! I almost don't believe him that he's 6'2 hahahahahaha
TommyInnit's really tall as well, and he's 15 or something.
@@ChinoBoogs From his voice and personality, many people thought he was short, but in a vlog, it was revealed he was 6 feet tall.
@@captainrick4513 how does that even relate to this

I’ve always had a problem with the scaling of attack on Titan. It would have been better if they made the colossal titan an absolute colossus. 250 meters while the wall is 200 or something. Because you’re right, while some of the titans are scaled correctly, once you get over 17 meters with zeke the scaling just drops off.
yes same here like the rumbling in fact most building probs are higher than them, it more of a obstacle course than anything.
Dont let the scaling ruin the whole anime for you l
@@Ahmad_1799 oh no heck no i love it to much never ruin it
It's actually pretty accurate most of the show. Also like he said, it's only small to us because the things we build is so huge. During the era of attack on titan, there were no skyscrapers or massive boats. Buildings were barely a few stories tall. In fact i think this scaling makes WAY more sense, especially with the physics in mind.
@@alicequinnley2644 I mean when armin step on that battleship like asoda can but that ship is as big as his collosal titan
I hope yall do this for a living in some way bc this is pure talent
I think the reason why Titans “feel” so big is because we don’t have anything from current day real life in the anime to actually draw a comparison.
Exactly, it's all about the anime world's point of view as there's nothing as giant as the titans, same thing goes for Kong and Godzilla as we don't have a larger environment as they are, they seem as giant as they are in the show.
Its still big as fuck, just not compared to modern day buildings
Yeah
@@basmasalman1855 to be fair kong in the hollow earth looked smol, but obviously that would be the case as thats literally the monster realm
Just wait until we get to the final episode and it zooms out to show the entire world is the size of a dandelion

Comments: suggesting and arguing about the tallest titan
Me: Wren is 6'2'' tall??
Wren
I was also a bit surprised and one reason might be Wren's voice. It's relatively high in pitch, which is unusual for taller men who statistically tend to have lower voices, since their vocal chords are likely to be larger than average just as most of the other parts of their body, like feet or hands.
@@JK-oe1dl Good point! I think it's the pitch of his voice, relatively slender build, and jovial personality. I think he could handle himself in a fight but because he's so amiable I reflexively think he's smaller than he actually is.
