      @@alaniasdruid8616 Honestly I don't even know if that's unpopular. I think it all comes down to personal preference, really. Their whole catalogue was made by masters. I'll admit there's some of the older *tracks* that I think might be better, but if I'm going to sit down and put on a Tool album, it'll be Fear Inoculum.

    The bones of your finger (including the bone from your knuckle to your wrist) follow the Fibonacci sequence. We have 8 fingers in total, 5 digits on each hand, 3 bones in each finger, 2 bones in 1 thumb, and 1 thumb on each hand. Many flowers also exhibit the Fibonacci sequence.

    Tool's "Lateralus" is a progressive rock song known for its distinct time signatures and corresponding lyrical patterns.3 The song was originally titled "9-8-7" for its time signatures, but it turned out that 987 was the 16th number of the Fibonacci sequence.03 The first verse of the song begins at 97 seconds, which is approximately 1.618 minutes, and each verse is 55 seconds long, which is the 11th number in the sequence.012 The syllables in those verses match the sequence too, peaking at 13 (coincidentally, the same number of total album tracks) and then again in a descending order thereafter.12 The syllables Maynard sings in the first verse follow the first six numbers in the pattern, ascending and descending in the sequence 1-1-2-3-5-8-5-3.

    They have evolved over the years. That’s why there are late gaps in album releases. The band sends Menard the music, then He writes and arranges the songs. Danny Carey is one of the best drummers of all time. The ever changing time signatures, adds to the unique sound. And I believe the drummer and the bass player make all of their video’s.

  • @Z_TPI
    @Z_TPI Рік тому +2

    I interpret this as him singing about the importance of human curiosity. We always want an answer to things unknown(ie. New experiences). Instead of going in blind with curiosity(the innate urge to push the envelope, cross the line) and use our intuition to understand a new experience, we tend to overthink and overanalyze things with logic beforehand.
    If we only thought and analyzed everything new to us, we wouldn't have curiosity. Without curiosity, we would miss out on new and random experiences. Without experiencing new and random things, we won't have a developed intuition to help us make sense of new things. If we don't have the ability to make sense of new things, we would always fear the unknown. With fear blocking us from approaching the unknown, humanity would no longer advance.
    Embrace the random. Ride the spiral of your curiosity into the unknown, and keep riding it to the end.
    Maintain a healthy balance between curiosity and logic. Too much curiosity is a danger to the body. Too much logic is a danger to the soul.
    What's great is that there is no wrong interpretation to this song. However this song is taken, it is open for all of us to interpret through our own lenses...

    They play tag with the fu*k!ng time signature.
    Danny carry is a damn octopus maynard is a lyrical mastermind punk alien and i dont even know what instument justin and adam are actually playing but it doesn't really sound like bass and guitar.
    It's like they made music specifically for people who make musik just to show them that they suck.
