I'm no expert but the bit didn't look right and seemed to be annoying the horse.
Yeah it looks like there's a problem with the bridle.
Disturbing to watch. Hurry up and press the damn button. Whoever is filming, could you not signal to the Guard, alerting him there is a problem?
Hello from Spain, it's nothing to do with the bit. The horse is flapping it's lips because something has spooked it, and it's like a self soothing thing it's doing. Unfortunately it's not working because whatever it's worrying about is still causing it problems. It could be a colour it's seen someone wearing, a noise, too many people etc etc. The guard did very well to wait, hoping whatever was causing its unease what was pasted. I just people would give the horse some space when they can plainly see it's having a hard time. Instead of taking pictures and getting way too close to it.
The rudeness and ignorance of these tourists is appalling..All they care about is their photo..
@@MaryWalker-lt9ngI understand your reaction, however...as frustrating as it is, these guards and horses are doing a job. Sometimes they just gotta accept and push through annoying issues.
The guard is trying to get the horse to calm down and has a ton of experiance. He will ask for help when needed.
Don't they see how spooked he is, so stop the selfies and think of the horse for a change.
I am amazed how long he battled before giving in. Also, what is the point of having a panic button if you have to wait so long for someone to help!
She, I think 🤔
I was hoping the horse would start biting the people who kept getting too close. Just goes to show they don’t know anything about horses or choose to ignore the warning signs.
if both the guard where on the ground bleeding these idiots still would want their stupid pictures
I made the same comment a few weeks ago, The Guard may as well have written a note and passed it onto the Armed Police in the time it took for someone to come out to check.
I totally agree he went for ages before pressing it he kept looking at it though
Clearly, the horse is stressed for a reason. The guard has wonderful horsemanship. As for the tourists, this is not a modelling opportunity take your photo and move away, the horse is stressed enough as it is
But respect to to guard on the control of the horse well done sir you are an asset
Perhaps the poor 🐴 horse looks like he wants some 💦 water, and the public is no help, either!
He's in there for punishment.
Exactly
Why do Tourists from around the World ALWAYS get blamed for everything??? Can't those so-call 'guards' ever control these situations??? A LACK OF ORGANIZATION!!! 👎
That has made me want to cry, that poor animal,is clearly agitated and those selfish people are sticking their phones in its face, what a selfish self centred lot they appear to be. The soldier is brilliant with his horse.
As a person who does know about bits I do agree with another person who said the bit is bothering the horse. His third lip is being tickled that is why he is mouthing. Some of you may call it a chin but it is a lip used for feeling when they graze. See him turn his head and try to bite what is bothering him❤️
I could see that also his bit was bothering him and I am not a horsey person
Always good to learn, l forgot to say that most of these videos the horses are constantly mouthing and throwing their heads up and down and often have their tongues out, I wonder if they use a special type of bit that affects these horses.
Thank you for your info
The bit is rubbing on his lip. Looks like somebody tried to hold the reins and pulled them as usual.
Agreed, it looks like bit is sitting crooked as it's closer to his mouth on the horse's right side and kinda hanging out on the left is twisted and going into his mouth. He's double bitted as well (which I HATE because of their severity), and it looks like the snaffle or "bridoon" is shifted to the right, whereas the curb bit is shifted left. He's clearly experiencing mouth discomfort/irritation. Severe tack on horses is one of my biggest triggers in the horse world.
Even the horse looked at that emergency button
Horse did not want that bit in his mouth, AT ALL! Rider did a great job managing his mount.
yep....problem with that tack bit's wrong somehow.
Gorgeous horse!
As another person pointed out, stall mats would be a great investment for the health of the horses.
Plus, I would have a painted half circle around the guard house, saying to people “Do Not Cross”!
Exactly! For all safety concern. Also may calm the horses.
That is a great idea.
One of the horses stuck his snout right down my blouse much to the humour of the crowd. I wasn't too close or even looking at him. The guard was great at controlling the horse with one little sharp pull on the reins
Good Ideal. People Don't Read Sings So Probably Wouldn't Do Any Good. But Need Them Anyway.
This is why I don't think tourists should be allowed to touch the horse's mouth. They can have anything in or on their hands. The Royal Guards and their Horses deserve more respect. They don't just keep our Monarchy safe but all of the UK too. Even our Airspace. 🌌🇬🇧🏴🙏🏻😔🥀
Why does no-one come when he presses the button. God help him in a serious emergency
Isn’t it a her?
Does that matter??
@veronicacrabtreehill6608 I think it would if he was getting attacked don't you
Look again, missed the buzzer with that punch
He can ride out and through the gates if he really needs to
Such rude people.... these wonderful guards do a tremendous job. What they and their mounts have to endure because people are thoughtless and so rude. Best regards to these terrific guards 🌸 and the great job they do .
Wonderful. Guards. Tremendous? In this video?
Best regards to these terrific horses that are so spooked by peoples selfish behaviour. People's selfishness and cruelty is astounding!
What selfish people? Maybe one or two people got into arms reach? I'm a farrier and work with horses most day of the week and most the time I have to force them to get through something they dont want to do. The tourists acted just fine, the guards acted just fine and the horse should be happy he isnt charging into the front lines, he will be fine, everything is ok, life gets worse than just a crooked bit.....
No look, they put the bridle on wrong, the chin chain (right side) is on top of the bit and left under or behind, that is a mistake they should never make! Someone was slacking! They can break a horses jaw worse case, the bit probably twisted which hurts and that is why he is mouthy, it has nothing to do with tourists, look around 15:40 or so it’s clearly visible. Look how the s shaped double rein doesn’t sit properly or uniformly!
@@rosanneducharme5486 They’re not spooked. The bridle is askew 🙄. Those horses deal with the crowds and sounds of traffic everyday. They’re not going to get “spooked” over something so small and $tup*d 🤦🏻♀️. Honestly now.
The guard really shouldve hit that button a long time ago.
I'm usually happy with the guards but I think this one missed the mark in this case.
Why they didn't do anything for him the first time.
No one in the back seemed to be I. A hurry to help. The horse could have bolted all the way to Hyde Park in that time. When they're that unsettled there's a reason. They should at least take him back to the stable and check him out rather than just leave him there for an hor
He ctually had to to hit it twice as no one came out the first time
Yes I think they should be more attentive toward the horses
That guard was itching to press that emergency button way before he finally did, he kept looking at it, I was willing him to "Press that button" as it was clear the horse was not going to settle!
Definitely need quicker response time time to that button being pressed
It amazes me that you can see horse is agitated but people still walk up for photos
Yup, at least the last photo taken will be one where the horse is bearing down on them......
Even coming up to the horse to pat it. As agitated as the horse was, that would have been a good time to let the horse take several fast steps towards the crowds.
It amazes me that the guard was so slow to act.
Actually if people don’t know anything about horses, they may not realise there’s any kind of problem. People see what they expect to see.
0 situational awareness!
Poor horse, he is agitated ❤
I worked at a craft store and the rudeness of customers was unbelievable. My manager said, “people are pigs”. True.
My father owned a store and he quickly learned that people are a-h-les.
It is hard to witness a horse in such a state … very anxious Or uncomfortable… 😮
Yes..right😢
Omg! It’s freaking me out ! The poor horse! He’s trying with all his might to convey his discomfort.
There needs to be a barrier around protect the horses tourist are way to close
Barriers are not possible it's a public street under control of the Council not MOD . Also potential danger to horse and rider if the horse ran forward .
@@kathellison8084 actually the area around Buckingham Palace is not by council. The guards house is under the protection of the king's guards. I am a historian who's field is Constitutional Sovereign Monarchy laws and Constitutional Sovereign Government laws.
Yes I’ve been saying this for a. Long time. Keep the public back away fro the horse and rider.
Too vulnerable…and the poor horse is mouthing too much.
@@ThereseHope The pavement and roadway is under the control of Westminster Council. Once inside the gates, it's royal land.
I agree!
The mouth piece on the right side doesn't seem to be moving like it does on his left side. I think it's irritating him by poking him in the mouth or rubbing against it's mouth. He probably would stop moving his head if it wasn't constantly getting in his mouth. It's probably super irritating for the horse.
I think the horse just can't be bothered with tourists....can you blame it....well done to the guard....thankyou for your service...🇬🇧❤️
Exactly. Even horses have a bad day
there was clearly an issue with the bit from what I saw Also I wish they would do something about the flooring everytime time a horse acts up they go slipping and sliding all over the place very dangerous for both Trooper and Horse
Definitely. Surely the floor could be cleared after every guard charge especially this time of year. Horse fly bites can be very painful and annoying.
@@Champagne1 FFS these soldiers know what they.are.doing they look after these horse 24/7 he was bothered by the ignorant tourists usually Americans
I was wondering that too, I do not see any device or drains to wash area down or , needs to be done before the next horse on the hour.
@@vickywatkins37 no he wasn’t. His bit and bridle were bothering him 🙄🤦🏻♀️. Cut the theatrics and fake expertise schtick. It’s not working, nor is it attractive.
Nope.
He punched the emergency button at about 11 minutes and nobody came to help him by the time the video ended. W😣here was the help???
Hit at 13 min and 10 seconds
From where the Guard is sitting, he doesn’t see what is causing the horse’s distress. People are taking time for a photo, but if someone would have taken a moment to tell the Guard…your horse may have some discomfort in his mouth. He may have pushed the button sooner, which is what he should have done much earlier. Love your videos and all my respects to the Guardsmen and their horses ❤
All the times the horse turned it's head he should have been able to see it. Bit despite that, as a trained horseman, you should be able to "read" your horse. He let it go on way too long
Why are these horses not thoroughly checked, harness & bit wise before leaving the stables? Total incompetence!!!
As my grandpa used to say, "Watch out, he's trying to spit the bit!" Basically the horse is spooked for whatever reason, and the guard is doing an excellent job trying to maintain control, but at some point (when he hits the button) he knows that the horse is only getting more upset and for safety, has to remove him from the source of agitation or someone will be seriously injured.
The expression chomping at the bit, comes to mine!
😂
You would be to if your bit and bridle were fitted like that. It has to hurt. I feel sorry for the poor girl.
Or even ‘comes to mind’.
Thank you for your service and be safe
He's doing a marvellous job of keeping a clearly uneasy horse under control. Also, the lip licking is associated with trying to calm down after a stressful experience.
Wrong ….the chin chain is placed wrong, it’s hurting the horses mouth. Look right side is correct over the bit, left side it is behind the bit!
That is not what his lip moving meant, especially with all that tongue action. That was mouth distress.
Something needs to be done about the length of time it takes for them to answer emergency button
Surely the police can hear the clatter of the hooves of this unhappy horse and come to investigate. The guard needs help to try to settle the horse.
The horse is anxious.
It appears both horses were agitated. But as usual handled very well by the guards
Tambien me di cuenta de eso, ambos caballos estaban alterados , tambien puede ser por sed, también por la cantidad insoportable de gente, están expuestos a estrés tanto el guardia como los caballos .
Are you daft? The rider should have dismounted to see what was wrong with the horse.
These Guards have been doing this for how many years?? And people expect them to change to suit the public? No one knows these horses better than the riders. They know what to do. Whatever the situation the horse cannot fail. He has to face whatever, and turn it into a positive. I am sure these riders would just, nope, out of here! But they can't. There is an emergency button. Tourists are getting worse, and it may happen that they do not do this anymore. It might be something in front of him that he sees. You do not know. You do not ride these guys, nor to you get the training, I have seen the emerge button pushed before. Nothing is more important to this riders than their horse!
Well someone screwed up, they didn’t place the chin strap(chain) correctly it is causing the horse pain. Look at the right side vs the left, one was under and the other is over. It’s causing the bar in the mouth that keeps the bit from being pulled back since they use double reins, most people don’t. It is hurting the top of the horses mouth, you can see it’s all askew! It’s around 15:00 something that you will see. And yes we can clearly see what is bothering him his mouth hurts. You can actually make a horse have a hard mouth by using bits that hurt or in this case incorrectly.
You would think that someone would have said to the guard that something was not right with the bit in the mouth or could he have been stung? The guard did wrong as well should have hit the button long before. This is upsetting to watch.
How would you feel if people just kept suddenly appearing from the sides and shoving cameras in the poor guard and horses face!!! they should have more ‘breathing’ space, well done to all you fantastic soldiers, you do an amazing job 👍
Those men on the horses need to be more able to see or tell when a horse is in distress I think. This horse clearly was for a long time.
I wonder if they get bitten by flies? He seems to be bothered by his mouth. This guard & horse have tired really hard to make this work and there is clearly something upsetting him. Well done. You both deserve a drink and a massage. I imagine that takes a lot of strength to keep him where you want him.
It just goes to show that these animals have their own minds, they can be stubborn and if they don't want to do something they will not be forced into doing it. Therefor it shows what skill, training and dedication it takes to pull off, train and keep the horses happy while doing some of the huge ceremonies these horses and riders take part in.
It’s like the saying “you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink.”
So disturbing to watch. Could the person filming this, have alerted the Guard there was something wrong with the horse. Make a signal, do something? Nope nobody came. Great.
These guards are incredibly well trained, the guard does this all the time, he called for help when needed. These horses are some off the most well cared for horse in the world. They have documentaries about them in the U.K.
@@mariaharrison7228 I am from the UK. Well aware the Guards are highly trained. The whole point was the horse was extremely distressed. Our view of the horses mouth was clearly visible, and there was definitely something wrong with the bit. It was noticeable. The Guard couldn't see, but the Guard shouldn't have waited as long as he did to press the emergency button. Also I made the comment that whoever was filming should have alerted the Guard something wasn't right. They are not a new channel and know the score. Never mind the tourists, see to the horse.
One of the issues is that from where the guard sits atop the horse- he can’t see what we’re seeing- the horse constantly licking and biting-
I have noticed with a lot of these horses that they appear to be uncomfortable with the bit.
Horse needs help! Horse looked at the panic button as if to say " let me push that button if you won`t". Guard needs to be more attentive. Love this channel from USA.
Good for you, I was cussing at that guard for letting the horse be in distress for so long. Even when another guard did come along he did nothing.
The guard probably has to follow a certain procedure before pushing the button. They are very strict in how everything looks. The rider probably was concerned and cared, but higher ups have rules, and they don't have concerns for a horse. Inspection of the guard and his mount before going to the booth wasn't done very well.
That guard watched every step and followed procedure to the letter. He was 100% attentive. There is such strict protocol. The horses are trained for this as well.
Response isn't particularly fast to " emergency " button being pressed, to be hoped there is never a really serious emergency
He didn‘t push the emergency button strong enough. he wanted to, but he did‘t raise an alarm.
Ohhh. I was wondering too why so long
It's terrible the way tourists act to bother the horse. These beautiful animals deserve as much respect as their guards do.
They are still waiting to this day for someone to come
Please stop judging the guard they train hard ,they know what they,re doing .
He didn't check his equipment and ignored the distress his horse was in, no problem solving useing common sense
No one judges the guard, he simply judges the passers-by who continue to take photos even if he sees that something is wrong with the animal..When you see a horse stressed, the best thing is to leave it alone, obviously with the noise of chattering and people continuing to take photos, nothing helps calm the horse. But after all the guard is somehow at fault when you look at the horse you notice that he is disturbed by the bit in his mouth and that he is in "distress" They should normally check their equipment before riding the horse
Not in this case. Some guards are bloody wankers.
The horse is having a panic its not funny the tourists should keep away from it stop taking photos dont stand next to it well done to the guard for keeping control they need a barrier he needs help
that is a public footpath and any form of barrier would be dangerous both for the horse and rider.
😢😢Oh my gosh I see what the problem is now, he didn’t or someone didn’t put the bridle on correctly. He should have double checked it’s placement so bad on him if he didn’t put it in. So the bit goes in the mouth, due to second reins which uses an additional bar that hits the top palate is much harder on the mouth but that’s beside the point. They should have put the chin chain over the bit, it keeps the bit/bar in the mouth digging into the top of the mouth or being pulled too far back. So on the right side he placed the chin chain under the bit so every time he pulls it’s painful and causing the bit to be pulled to the left side that is why it’s so far out of the mouth on that side. The chin chain is due to the second set of reins it gives more control put is more painful as well. But due to uniformity they all wear them.
Whomever put this on didn’t double check to see that the chin chain was on the bit not behind top of it. 15:45 look around this time you can clearly see the chain on top of the right side of the bit and behind the bit crossing to the other side. So think the bit goes in, the the chain is strung or placed so it’s on top of the bit and reattached under the chin. If the chain is not placed properly it could break a horses jaw, or twist the bit, it’s just so that S shaped gold second rein holder doesn’t pull the bar (they use the bar in the mouth for more control) to the back teeth or injure the top palate of the mouth. Now think he placed the chain over the bit on one side and under on the other side so nows against the right side of the mouth so it hurts. Shame on whomever did that, if they have a horse mouthing like that something is wrong, he never looks down just at the tourists. 😢😢. Tell me I am wrong because I see it now! The chain that keep the bar from being pulled back is over the bit on the right side and under on the left side. That is also why the second set of reins are not sitting properly. I hope the person who made this mistake will learn from it. We all make mistakes when learning but that one could have been dangerous to the tourist and harden or injure that horses mouth. No one wants a horse with such a hardened mouth no one can control it. A beginner rider can break a horses jaw if they don’t use them properly. They state in the guards info that most have never ridden prior to their training.
The only thing wrong with the bit is that it's off center in the horse's mouth. Not an uncommon occurrence. He may have been bothered by a sore in his mouth, but the way these horses are looked after, that's unlikely. Could have been he just didn't want to work that day.
Needs to be better crowd control in the area, even though the guards at these particular stations mostly have ceremonial duty they still need some buffer from the large crowds of tourists.
I wished the police were more assertive and proactive regarding the tourists. Instead of chitchatting, they need to be taking turns outside of the gates to do more crowd control.
Why isn't anyone coming to help?????
I don’t think the button was properly depressed, as it was a glancing blow. In other videos there has been a response in minutes from 1,2 and even 3 troopers in camo to assess and rectify an issue where possible, and horses have been stood down where there was any concern for their welfare.
I feel so so very sorry for the horse! Whoever was in charge of dressing him did a horrible job with that bit 😡
No. The bridle has either broken at the curb chain or been interfered with by a tourist! The horse is distressed!
😢
That poor horse is desperately uncomfortable. Needs to be taken back to his stable and calmed, with bit and bridle removed.
The bit!!!! I was feeling stressed seeing the horse terribly uncomfortable!!
There appears to be no sense of urgency from the guard's peers, in fact the one who came out didn't attempt to help at all. So much for the "emergency" button.
I think the Police in my town were trained by the kings guards "emergency services". If you have a homicidal maniac attack you here the Police might show up the next day & if it involves paperwork they won't attempt to help you at all...
The bit needs to be adjusted.
Really don't understand why it took so long for the guard to ask for help when the horse was so obviously distressed.
13:08 for those who just want to see what the whole fuss was about
The membranes inside the horses nose are so red, almost like he has ran a race,he’s not a happy horse 😢
I noticed the very red nose membranes, definitely an unhappy horse.
😢
He is unsettled ❤
Cynthia, I noticed it, too! Just no way to let them know at the time. Felt sorry for the horse.
I’m disappointed at the Guard for not taking immediate action when the horse became distressed. The poor soul was struggling with the Bit + it was obviously not fitted correctly. He made no effort to lean over + try to check himself or even try to comfort him.
Every guard needs to be able to apply safety of the animal over policy in their decision making!
And you know best because……
They are so trained to remain at their post, and they don't want to appear weak. Especially a female guard, this kind of incident goes round a barracks like a plague!
wendy i agree with you there was something wrong with the bit on the left hand side !!
Because of common sense!
The guard is not allowed to dismount. I agree it was not a timely response by the foot guard, he looked at the horse and obviously didn’t feel that action was necessary or the guard and horse would have been recalled. The mounted guard did his/her best to calm the horse, while taking a beating. I assumed they have cameras in the stables where they can monitor the horses and mounted guards on duty. Be disappointed in the foot guard who finally came out, talked to the rider and looked at the horse. Neither of us know what directives those mounted guards are given. They are not allowed to dismount while out there. They do their best to deal with rude and ignorant tourists who allow their children to pose dangerously close to the horses, they deal with ignorant tourists who mock them and tease their horses, they deal with unexpected noises, hands pawing at their horses and seemingly indifferent responses to their panic button when pushed. You criticize well, could you handle all that they have to put up with?
Think the guard should have shouted stand back to the idiots standing in front of an obviously unsettled horse because they dont have the sense they were born with 😒.
Probably because they weren’t born with any. It’s all about me me me today.
It’s a good job the horse wasn’t rampaging around the public with the length of time it took for them to respond to the alarm
Too hard to watch, that poor 🐴 so anxious, surely the Kings Guard would have known something was wrong and seemed forever before the panic button was pressed. Look at the horses mouth and tongue, too sad😢😢 love from Auckland, New Zealand ❤
Looks like there's something wrong with the bridle...
I agree its hurting his mouth 😢
The horse is finished and is trying to brush the guard off! ❤
I so wanted the guard to press the emergency button as I felt that the horse was in distress. This time I am annoyed with the guards as they didn't seem bothered to get him sorted asap.
Where the heck are they when he has signalled by using the Emergency button.? One of the Police guards came to the gate and then simply walked away again. and also those "stupid tourists can see that the horse is distressed and still keep coming with all the constant "Jabbering " as well. which is not helping the Guard to calm the horse down.
Guard should know his horse is trying to tell him there's a problem (bit issue).
Poor horseman.
Exactly 💯
Yeah...that's what it looked like to me. The bit is sitting wrong in it's mouth. Seems to be crooked. And definitely, the guard should have noticed that and called for help from the guard who was doing the half-time check up.
I think they should retire this tradition with the horses and the guards!
Do these horses ever get put out in a grass pasture do they ever get to run or do they go from standing still like this all day to install inside the stable?
I’m a long time equestrian,,that bridle is kinked and quite possibly pinching the lip of the horse. Push the button, take care of your mount.
It's most definitely the bit. You can see the rein buckle on the right side of the horse's mouth is sitting much closer to his mouth than on the left. It looks like it's twisted and keeps going in his mouth, which is causing him discomfort and most likely significant pain. It's definitely not sitting straight or evenly in his mouth, guaranteed the issue. You can tell by his constant lip movements, throwing his head, and trying to "back away" from the bit. Pawing the ground also is a sign of frustration. The bits they use for these horses aggravates me greatly because they are SO severe, they appear to be double bitted, which is extreme.
That horse was saying, will you pleeeze push that button !!!
So many expert horse man leaving comments.
Actually, both bits look out of whack.
i really wish the guard had hit the button after it happened a couple of times, poor horse xoxox having said that, they all still do a wonderful job.
When the KG came out and went to the right, i couldn't help but scream "ITS THE OTHER HORSE!"
Even horses have an off day. But yes the double bit doesn’t look right.
Should it take that long for someone to come out when the button is pressed. It's a emergency button. can the people not see that the horse is unsettled?
I agree about the bit. One side is definitely sitting oddly compared with the other side.
Imagine having iron controls( bits) in your mouth all day, The way he kept on trying to chew looks like he was in pain- he needed them to be removed.Throwing his head back, trying to move away from the pain is what I see.🙈
Both horses being bothered by what may be horse flies, which bite. Its hot and smelly, where they poo while standing, so attracts flies anyway, in warm weather. Not fair to expect them to stand still for that. I have ridden all my life and been bitten far too many times, so i know how it feels.
Thank you, I think it's flies, there is no way these incredible professionals have done the bit wrong, the mouth seems to always move when they are stressed.
Each horse would have its own individual supplies, bridle etc and not used on another horse so an issue with a bit seems unlikely.
You can see it’s not sitting right the right side is up higher then the left
Push the damn emergency button
As well as the mouth problems, the bright sun seems to be in its eyes.
The guards are very kind, they don’t yell at the children for being too familiar, but they do yell at adults that should know better.
Horse is bothered by (tourists)something & is uncomfortable
nothing to do with the tourists, the bit in the horses mouth was hurting it.
@@georgebarnes8163 possiblity
Everyone can see the horse is agitated but doesn’t stop the idiots taking photographs, unbelievable.
The horse is agitated because that bit is not in his mouth correctly. It's hurting him
I know exactly how that beautiful horse felt, he was irritated 😢, i hope 🙏🏼 they let him rest in someway
Poor horse is not feeling confortable... God bless horsie and the guard 😘🐾🐾♥️♥️
How long does it take for the emergency people to come?
It's always the same, it's disgraceful. Cheers Rosemary Perth Western Australia 72yrs
Does it mean something when the horses's mouth is constantly moving? And why didn't the Guard give him a few comforting pats occasionally?
It looks as though flies are upsetting this beautiful horse.
What bothers the horse is the bite in the mouth; they should normally check their equipment before riding.
I love that you do this for us. I haven’t been to London since 1982 so I so enjoy our time videoing this for us. I’m now in Wyoming USA
Horse is upsets yet theymust get a picture at any cost
For crying out loud!!! How long does it take to respond to an emergency?
The emergency button should be low enough for the horses to hit is themselves !
That poor baby!! OMG....I HATE to see an animal in distress....and people just ignore it. He is CLEARLY trying to adjust that bit...or get it OUT....his poor mouth is working overtime. Between the people and the bit...he's so upset!! And the way he keeps moving his head around....he wants it OUT!! Breaks my heart!! I couldn't do that job...I would be so busy attending to my horse and shooing people away that I wouldn't be able to....to.......GUARD.
Calm down, the horse is just overreacting.
Whars the use of having an emergency button when no one shows up to sort the problem!!!!!!❤❤❤❤🐴🐴🐴🐴
All these armchair quarterbacks. I don’t think the guard could see the bit! Obviously, he knew there was a problem, but how was he to know there was a problem with the bit? I saw a foot guard come up, look at the horse and walk away. He could see the bit. Why don’t you criticize the armed police who do nothing to help the mounted guards with either those crowding or teasing the mounted guard and horse. They are too busy standing in a cluster gossiping. I’m sure the mounted guard is more frustrated and concerned about his horse, the crowd and the bumps and bruises he will carry back with him than you sitting behind your phone criticizing.
There probably is rules against helping the horse or guard. They are there "to put on a show". The guard is probably frustrated because there is probably certain procedures and steps you have to go through before you can ask for help. Just like the other guard walking over and looking at them. He didn't really take a moment to look, and they're not supposed to speak. I also agree about mats being laid down for the horses to stand on.
Yep.
I have never had a horse, but that horse is screaming “my f’n mouth hurts”!
I never saw him hit the emergency button, nor did it ever warrant him hitting the emergency button?
He does at 13:10
